The room was lovely and the air conditioning worked really well. Tea and coffee-making facilities were excellent and the hotel provided a hair dryer and ironing board.

The issues I had with the room were very specific to me rather than general issues with the hotel. The rooms appear to be designed for taller people, I'm 5 foot tall and have mild mobility problems, getting into the bed was difficult and i risked falling when doing so. The TV wasn't great, picture was blurry and was designed to pair with guests devices, I don't use a smartphone and didn't have passwords with me to use the additional options. The hotel use duvets and no sheets, it was far too warm for a duvet so I had to sleep without a cover which isn't something I would normally do.

The room was really good, very comfortable beds for my son & I plus the bathroom was clean, modern & well equipped. Great Shower & cleans towels were provided with out asking for the last night of our two night stay. The continental breakfast was good but needed more cereal options, the coffee barista machine was really good, all made from fresh beans. My son & I really enjoyed our stay, the staff were always happy to help :-)

The room temperature control was not that easy to use as the room was chilly on Friday night but much better on Saturday night. The cooked breakfast was a little underwhelming on the Saturday, the sausages were rubbery in texture & the bacon was streaky, not to my liking. The eggs were passible & the plates would have been better warmed. The Sunday continental breakfast had reduced options, no yoghurt. We didn't have the cooked breakfast as we had an event to get to Sunday morning.

The room was spacious, the breakfast was nice, and the room was clean. The toiletries included were Elemis and were of good quality. The bed linen and towels were clean. The TV was of a good size. There was a good amount of parking available. Despite being close to the motorway there was no road noise in the bedroom.

There were only decaf coffee sachets in the room, no normal coffee sachets. There were no mattress or pillow protectors on the bed. These are very minor issues that would probably have been resolved if we had asked, but as we were only staying 1 night we didn't bother.

Didn’t have breakfast as going to our daughters for breakfast with grandchildren. Bed very comfortable as in the caught a bug so stayed in bed Xmas day and Boxing Day

I think staff training needs looking at. Not reception staff but bar staff and serving staff not very good at all. They were not attentive although the older lady Claire was trying to teach them what to do. There were 10 of us for an evening meal but not sure about your menu. I know you were thinking of Mediterranean but l just wanted soup but not the soup that you had. Please put a couple of British food. Thank you

Great location, easy parking with loads of space and good modern facilities. Good linen and clean throughout the hotel. Reception staff all lovely and happy to help.

Can’t really rate the room as we were given a disabled access room we didn’t need- which if we had needed it I would highly recommend as fantasticly equipped. For us it brought the slight fear of accidentally tripping over an alarm cord all night long and the bathroom was tricky to navigate around all the handles and ropes. Breakfast wasn’t great- skip it and the terrible coffee machine.

Lots of free parking, nice clean and open reception with friendly staff, large and clean room, good showers with controls reachable without having to be in the shower, great toiletries, hairdryer and iron/ironing board, quieter room as requested. Just a short drive from Magor for pubs and restaurants. Breakfast buffet was great especially as included in the rate we paid. Good value overall, and our first time staying at a Tŷ hotel. If the rates stay consistent we’ll definitely stay at one again.

Not enough tea bags and milk sachets in the room, but I went to reception to ask for more so were given a little more. Pillows could be more comfortable but ok.

Breakfast was an all you can eat delight that I booked on the day, the room was large and comfortable - with an excellent shower - and the bed was gloriously comfortable. I was expecting a small room and budget level facilities, and I certainly did consierably better than that. I've never used this chain before, but certainly will look for them as a preference in the future.

I was mildly suprised by the provision of a security deposit when I first arrived - but it was refunded promptly and the break fast was able to be added into it (rather than paid for seperately), so no real objections. In fact it turned into a positive - my checking in and talking about that was excellent customer services and showed really helpful staff.

rooms were well laid out if sofa bed not used . Main bed was large and confortable Carpark was good Property all looked clean and well presented. Staff very friendly and efficient. A very near/almost onsite restaurant facility

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and caused me to bruise my leg twice because of the metal bits sticking out. Tap in hand basin only had a trickle flow of water not sufficient to wash well. Restaurant was very expensive and they added a service charge to the bill for two of us which i found in appropriate. - meal was lovely but strange to have no veg/side salad with dishes just tiniest pot of coleslaw

Clean. Comfy bed and pillows. Walk in shower and the elemis toiletries were a nice touch. Tea, coffee and biscuits were nice. Towels are nice and big. Very easy to relax here. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.

Staff don't give much away! I had to ask what time breakfast was. I was told the start time but no finish time. When I've been in other hotels, they normally tell you as you're checking in. Breakfast wasn't the best. Bacon was streaky bacon, and the pastry I had was stale. I did enjoy my beans on toast though

I was very impressed with the amount we paid we weren't expecting such a beautiful looking hotel . Outside and inside, very bright and airy The beds were so comfortable . The breakfast was beautifully laid out , plenty of choice, and a great hearty full english. The lady serving at breakfast greeted u. Good morning was very helpful. The reception staff was welcoming, and Jonathan was very efficient, allowing us to check in slightly early. Everything was really clean , from arrival untill departure we had a great stay .Thank-you for a great stay !

Maybe more tea bags in the rooms ? There wasn't anything else I could say we was unhappy with 😊
