Hospitality of the staff members were fantastic. We arrived quite late at night on a last minute, same day booking and they were friendly nonetheless. One of them even kindly offered to carry my bag up the stairs for me as I had lots of things with me due to the last minute nature of the stay. We had to extend our stay by one more night, and the staff members did their best to rearrange the rooms so we did not have to change rooms despite the place being almost fully booked.

Carpets had some negligible stains on it and there were some spider webs in the top corner of the room.

The staff are lovely and the biggest plus for the hotel. Comfy beds but one mattress needed some tlc. Lovely hot and powerful shower. Shower leaked quite a bit onto the floor. Slept like a log in the room. Really quiet despite being a busy hotel . We even kept the window open. Lots of easy to access parking. Very useful base for exploring the area . There's even a railway station nearby if you want a break from driving We didn't eat at the hotel but I have heard good things about the food.

A few minor maintenance issues coming from the age of the hotel., leaky shower and temperamental room door lock. Poor WiFi in the rooms. Not a huge issue for us but if you need it this would be an issue..you would be in the hotel bar! It didn't detract from the stay.

Seeing a score of 7/10 my expectations were not high. I was, however pleasantly surprised. The staff were brilliant, ALL of them. The room was really comfy, clean and quiet. The shower was hot and I loved the toiletries that were left in the room. Parking was easy, with lots of room. We used the hotel as a great base for travelling the area. The train station was just down the road so even that was handy.

A couple of minor maintenance issues but the staff acted immediately and did everything to help. It certainly didn't detract from the stay. The staff make the place awesome.

Excellent location for our purpose. Staff efficient and friendly, and great breakfast choices. Nice and quiet, meaning a great night's sleep !! Good sized room, on-site carpark, and good wifi.

Very small bathroom, which definitely requires upgrading/refurbishment. Room 116. Rusty heated towel rail, cracked bath side, rough patching to bath end, broken shower control (though the shower did still work). Despite this, the bathroom was actually clean, likely due to the sterling efforts of the housekeeping staff.

The reception .I had already booked and paid through Booking .com but the receptionist wanted my credit card “for the security of the room”When I produced my booking.com receipt he still processed my card charging a further £85.50 .A couple of days after returning home I checked my bank account and it showed payment to booking .com and heritage park hotel,I.e a double payment.I contacted the hotel who said email my receipt to the hotel,the following day a lady phoned and said she would refund my money,eight days later I Am Still waiting for my money.You have 2days before I instigate proceedings plus the additional costs due……

Unfortunately The evening meal wasn’t great or value for money .. limited choice and very expensive … there were guests requesting to send theirs back because it was cold etc .. we didn’t want to complain at the time as we were hungry and didn’t want the hassle .. maybe it was a bad day in the kitchen .. short staffed .. etc .. we had a lovely breakfast the next morning and was looked after by the young female breakfast member of staff who was on shift (very busy but very professional) so we wouldn’t let it taint our stay 😊

All staff were polite and friendly reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The manager even gave us a lift into Ponty to save us booking a taxi. Amazing service. Room was lovely and warm very clean and tidy. Food was very good had two evening meals. You have to try the Chefs onion rings delicious. The young girl from Wigan who was looking after the bar and waitressing was excellent shame we didn’t get her name. We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay.

Had a leaky sink otherwise nothing.

Check in was smooth and efficient. The room was clean tidy and warm on arrival with a a tea and coffee available. The car park was large with plenty of room. The food in the restaurant was of a good standard with the steak being cooked just as requested. The staff were really helpful. The buffet style breakfast was top notch

The post code on a sat nav takes you beyond the hotel when travelling with it on the left hand side. There could be larger cups in the room and filter coffee would have been better at breakfast over the instant that was provided

Breakfast was really nice the hotel has nice restaurant area that serves lovely food also has a separate bar area from restaurant reception staff was very welcoming and friendly hotel was spotlessly clean would definitely stay here again also in good central location to valleys and Pontypridd

Room we stayed in was basic the furniture in room could do with a little upgrade and also bathroom could do with a little TLC I noticed some rooms has all ready been upgraded and refurbished other than this our room was spotlessly clean

Lovely peaceful location. Nice spacious room. Arrived early as we were attending a funeral and reception were very helpful in finding us a room already serviced so we could check in early & get ready. Very nice cooked breakfast.

Bath & overhead shower in bathroom but only the shower functioning. Change of water flow to bath taps seemed to be disabled. We filled bath using shower hose. No Crisps or snacks sold behind bar & therefore no food options once restaurant stops serving at 8.45pm
