Our first time in Polis area, and it’s really lovely. The apartment was easy to find, self check-in was also without issues - we arrived at night. Air conditioner / heater comes handy when staying of season. We didn’t use much of the kitchenette apart from making coffee. The small bedroom is upstairs, the double bed is also quite small but we are not big either so it was ok. A little area with a table and chairs outside is lovely, we even had a bbq evening with neighbours. There’s also enough space to park a car just in front of the apartments. Communication from the host is spot on, we were really grateful for their response clarifying some queries and resolving little issues. Despite some issues I would really recommend the apartment for the holidays, and we would stay there again if travelling to Cyprus in the future.

On arrival there was no shower gel, not even soap to wash hands. The apartments are not soundproof, so if you’re a light sleeper with noisy neighbours, consider bringing an earplugs. It was cold the night we arrived (+8, early spring) and only a sheet and a think blankets were provided. Need to admit, that when we asked, a duvet and a thick blanket was left for us the next day, which really saved the holiday for me, as I get cold easily. I think it would be very helpful to print out a onepager explaining how to heat the water when needed, use a smart tv, wifi password, etc - this would help to avoid a negative reviews and queries from the guests.

Very good location for a summer holiday with the basics provided plus a restaurant on the complex but only open during summer months; 3 mins walk from the beach / coastline and 8 mins walk along seafront to the harbour with good restaurants. cafes and bars. There are also beach shops, mini markets and ATM's. In summer months, there are boat trips from the harbour. The complex is only a 5 min drive from Polis town, which is small, quaint, very pretty. with restaurants, bars, mini markets, souvenir shops, pharmacy and post office. We visited during the Christmas period and the Xmas market is fabulous; lots of stalls, mulled wine, Christmas lights, even entertainment in the town square, so atmospheric, but very cold at night! Aphrodite's Rock is not far away and well worth a visit but you would need a car or catch a bus. The coastline is superb and the bathing place / waterfall itself inside the rocks, very pretty. A visit to Pathos Old town is possible but you need a car to go across the mountain road, it takes about 45 mins. A bus does link Polis with Pathos but not sure how long it takes, although there appear to be several buses per day. It was a pleasure to meet the host and his family who were very welcoming indeed, if we need something we only had to ask. They even brought us some fruit and a bottle of wine as a present for New Year, which we thought was really lovely!

The complex restaurant isn't open during the winter months, so it's eat out or prepare simple food inside the property. While this was a disappointment, guess not it's cost effective to open up, when numbers are down across the winter months. But summertime you would have the full facilities to use and the menu catered for all tastes.

Location of the houses is 3 minutes walk to the beach. They have very greeny and beautiful gardens infront of each house. You can park your rent a car directly on the opposite site under a tree. Very nice room interiors with a plenty of space in them. It is always shadow in the early morning when you drink your coffee or have a breakfast in the garden in front of your house. The kitchen is perfect you have everything you need to prepare dinner or breakfast by if you decide to make it by yourself as there is a restaurant in the houses area, if you want to be prepare for you. The nature in and around is gorgeous. Many flowers, trees, very long beach with alleys and spots with or without umbrellas, with spots with play facilities for kids. The port is close if you want to have a dinner at the first line. There are places for dinner on the beach too with delicious food and perfect view. Very nice people in each place we visit with delicious sea food and wonderful views. We went to the Blue Lagoon with a boat. It was amazing time in the wonderful water with a barbeque lunch. Very polite stuff. There are a lot of nearby beaches where you can get snorkeling and see sea turtles.

The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed. Nice room interiors with a plenty of space in them. The owner and staff were very nice and helpful. Every apartment has its own entrance and place to rest outside, lovely garden with table, chairs and sunbeds. You can park your rent a car directly on the opposite site under a tree. The area is very nice, quiet, wild, it is perfect if you are looking for a more tranquil vacation. The location was perfect, 5 minutes walk to the beach. It is walking distance to the port of Laci where you can find shops and good choice of restaurants at the firs line. Perfect value for money. Thank you for our lovely vacation at Latchi Village and Eliofos Elegant Maisonettes.

Great and spacious apartment. There is living area and a kitchen at the ground floor and bathroom and bedroom upstairs. The furniture and equipment is rather basic but still you will find everything you might need for a comfortable stay. A/C in both living area and bedroom which was a huge advantage. the A/C might use a bit of upgrading but it was efficient and not too noisy. peaceful and quiet neighborhood but still not that far from all the restaurants and bars. about 15min walk to Latchi promenade or about 20-25min walk to Polis city center. Just a short walk to the beach, takes no more than 3mins 🙂 Free parking in front of each apartment. Great contact with hosts.

soundproofing could be better.

The location was perfect, very close to the sea, 2 min by walk, very quiet, the garden in front of my apartment was wonderful, the jasmin was smelling so beautifully. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed. The communication with the owner was prompt nice and clear. The area is very nice, quiet, wild, it is perfect if you are looking for a more tranquil vacation.

The water pressure was very poor, difficult to take a proper bath.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. It is a nice quiet maisonette, big enough for 4 people, with 2 patios at front & back. The appartment is 3 minutes walk from the nice beach and 10 minutes walk from nearest beach front restaurant. The host is very helpful and friendly, we asked to arrange taxi from/to the airport and a few things like socket adapters.. For what we paid it was a very nice and enjoyable stay and we would definitelly come back again

It would be nice and helpful to have info at one place about what is provided by the accommodation (e.g. cleaning, changing towells & bed linen, washing machines use, etc.) You can always ask the staff which is much appreciated.

the location is superb, there is a very nice and not crowded beach within 5 minutes walk. - the owner is so friendly he was answering all questions and requests (I requested salt and more towels) and he informed us about car rental, hot spots etc. - they welcomed us with fresh fruits in the flat which was a lovely touch - it is walking distance from polis (about 30 mins) and less to few nice shops and sandwich place in the direction of the harbour but we needed a car because we were in there in August and it was too hot to bike/walk.

This was our second stay here and we look forward to our third. The accommodation is spacious and tastefully decorated. Exactly what you need for a relaxing holiday away from the crowds of resort hotels with their aqua parks. This place is a home away from home. The gardens/outdoor areas are beautiful and you have everything you need inside. The owner is wonderful. So helpful and friendly and responded to our special requests really quickly. He went above and beyond. The beach is just a five minute walk away and there is a good choice of restaurants in nearby Polis and Latsi. I can’t rate this place highly enough.

Excellent location just down the path to the beach and walkable to centre of both Latchi and polis! Lots of room of 2 of us.

The restaurant cafe at the front is currently closed which made check in and check out difficult but on the second day a nice man bought us some fruit round and checked how everything was.
