The location is amazing if you are looking for peace and quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for. The food was amazing and so were the drinks (ask for extra liquor and please tip!!! The personnel was amazing and always willing to go the extra mile.to make your experience there amazing). The room was huge!!! and the bed was so comfy.

We did not have any issue with our room but the hotel needs some love and care. Some repairs are needed but it was overall clean. Food & bev service ends at 10pm which sucks because there's no time for a Patron shot!!

The room is HUGE—the largest we have ever had (and we've traveled to many places). The views are spectacular from every room, whether you prefer gazing across the pool or from upon high. The infinity pool is extremely large and very clean. The bed is comfortable and not as hard as many we've encountered in Mexico. Snacks are fun while relaxing at the pool. The staff is friendly and efficient. Parking is available on-site. We are repeat customers and will choose to stay again.

The restaurant hours are odd. The bar closes too early (10 pm), and there is a gap of time (between 5-6 pm, if I remember correctly) when you can't get any food at all at the resort. Coffee should be available 24/7 but is not especially for early risers in the morning who have to wait for the restaurant to open for their morning joe. Overall, the food is pretty to look at but not as much flavor as you would expect for Mexico where even the street food is amazing.

Location is a bit of a pain. It’s in between two towns but neither is walking distance. Wasn’t too much of a problem but you have to get taxis if you want to go anywhere (25/30 dollars to nearest towns) and it was hard to find a chichen itza trip that would pick us up. When we did find one we had to be picked up first and dropped off last so it made the day a lot longer. Possibly better to go private if you can afford it

The staff were exceptional. Honestly, they truly made our trip special! The New Years meal was exceptional, and the celebration was alot of fun! They incorporated Mexican traditions as well. A Big Thank you to all who made our experience wonderful.

There is no place at night set up for music and dancing. Also a shuttle to Puerto Morales would be nice. It gets expensive having to take Taxis. The property needs a bit of updating.

We loved the beautiful hotel and the surroundings, the pool area was lovely and we specifically loved lounging on the day beds. The hotel was very clean, the food was delicious and varied, I liked that it was a la carte rather than buffet. We mainly ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner then for lunch we used the snack bar by the pool and ordered to our day bed. It is a super relaxing and chill hotel, they do play music all day which we loved. There isn’t anything in walking distance to the hotel so really it is a time to switch off and enjoy. Because the hotel isn’t huge, it gives the opportunity to get to know the other guests if you want to and also the staff who were fabulous and the room was just incredible. We would return in a heart beat, we have been travelling around Mexico for a month and by far this is our favourite hotel.

The only minor improvement would be to provide more shampoo and conditioner, we only received one of each per day which is only enough for one person when we there is two of us.

Large comfortable room, pretty much as advertised, with ocean view balcony. Food was good. Staff responsive. Nice location next to beach. Enjoyed having a clothing optional area available.

Although the food was good, the menu was fairly limited. There was a kitchenette in the room, but it was not equipped with any dishes, silverware, pots or pans, condiments or anything to make it usable other than for a table to eat on. While I'm sure most people would not be cooking in their room here, it would be nice to have that option available too warm up a snack or make a cup of coffee.. Also, they might consider some attention to better insect control. There were annoying small flies on the balcony and in the clothing optional area. Fortunately they did not bite, but they were annoying none the less

We liked the location. The balconies open to a beautiful ocean view and sound. The property is quiet and laid back compared to other places. Not much to do. It’s for people who really enjoy quietness and tranquility.

The presentation of the food was very artistic. The food en general was good for the first two nights and then it was repetitive and not tasty at times. Dessert was cheap and sometimes old. We had problem with hot water, we had to remind them all the time to turn on the boiler up. Other than that everything else was fine.

This was our second visit to Senses Riviera Maya, a wonderful little boutique hotel set up in the picturesque backdrop of turquoise waters, sun and endless blue skies that just recharges one’s spirit! The rooms are spacious, featuring a spa like shower and tub, and all have a magnificent ocean view. They have a beautiful infinity pool and beach access within steps of the resort. The vibe here is that of tranquility and relaxation, with an emphasis on customer service. Do not expect wild parties (although I’m sure Karen, the knowledgeable concierge, could help you set up transportation if such experience is what you desire!). There is one full restaurant and a snack/quick lunch bar, on different levels. The dishes are tasty and made fresh, so prepare to be a little patient with that in mind. At night, Hernan, one of the evening servers, became our go to for food suggestions, drink ideas and dessert guru. During the day, Habib, one of the day servers, became adept at making my husband’s favorite drink and answering questions about the area and hotel. Both of these individuals were the gold standard in hospitality and made our day to day stay comfortable and enjoyable. At the end of our stay, it felt like we were leaving friends. A big hats off to the GM Pedro, who took care of some minor issues in our room immediately and personally followed up with us. Senses is a small place with a lot of heart, the staff are kind- some even remarkable as mentioned above, I would definitely recommend you visit this oasis to experience both its simplicity and charm. I know I will be back as soon as possible!

I loved the room it was amazing. The bed OMG SO COMFORTABLE.The jets in the tub were strong it was great. Very relaxing. The drinks were ok.

The hot tub on the roof jet was weak and barely worked. The water was great though. Wear water shoes in the pool, the pool towels are loose and missing. This resort IS SMALL AND QUIET. IF YOU WANT QUIET YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE.
