Beautiful alpine lodge and campus with carousel and pond and giant chess board. Resort has deluxe indoor/outdoor pool, indoor hot tub has massaging waterfall. The resort has glassware in each room instead of plastic cups and the phones work to call the front desk and housekeeping.

We love Z’s Restaurant, but due to many reasons outside the resorts control they’re only open Wednesday through Saturday so we were disappointed that it was closed when we arrived Sunday afternoon and the Lobby Restaurant and Bar are only open Thursday through Sunday.

There were lots of fun amenities for families. The pool is large and has a swim through tunnel to the outside part of the pool. There is a carousel that runs on the hour. Giant chess. Shuffleboard. Beautiful grounds. Mini golf course was super fun! the rooms were comfortable with nice sheets. Several on site dining options too.

It was very crowded at check in. They had an issue with my reservation and didn’t have the room I reserved available, but they accommodated us with two rooms and it ended up being even better.

Nice pool. Room was comfortable and quiet, but not spacious. Good location. No free breakfast, but we had a very nice breakfast at Z's Restaurant, which is on site. Check-in and check-out very smooth.

The front desk described our room as a "basic room." We were told it did not have a microwave or a mini-refrigerator. For the price - "basic room" or not - those amenities should be included, especially at a "resort" hotel like the Zermatt, and especially considering many (most?) lower priced brands have these two appliances in their guest rooms.

I loved the fireplace such a romantic way to end an evening. There was a lot of things to do and see around the property and in the cute little town. Immensely enjoyed this spot as a honeymoon spot.

The shower took awhile to warm up. Which was unfortunate after we got back from the hot tub. And because we got there on the off season, we had to go to restaurants off the property more than on the property but that was ok seeing as we liked to explore the city.

It was very beautiful. The staff were very nice and helpful. Overall peaceful stay!

The thermostat was not working in my first room. The gentleman on duty was very caring (Kenneth?) and switched me rooms when it could not be fixed. The T.V. seemed outdated and was a little annoying to navigate (although it could have very well been me!)

Beautiful room/villa. Loved the high ceilings. Loved the architecture, wall murals, tree lights and grounds.

Wish the geothermal pots were open. Coffee in the Bakery was subpar. Would have been nice to have more dining options.

Room/Beds excellent...... very clean....Pool excellent....... breakfast not to my liking but got us by untill we got out and about.

Variety of food on offer at Z's restaurant may be more pasta or rice or salad dishes. Bakery nice but not for us as a breakfast.

Staff was excellent! We were there for our anniversary and the made us feel very special! They even upgraded our room and surprised us with pastries from their bakery. The amenities were great! We especially enjoyed their 18 hole mini golf course. Overall an excellent place to stay!

The restaurant choice has gone down from what it used to be years ago. Bar food is poor for the price and the pool really needs an overhaul big time. Take a look at The Homesteads new pool and facility. Zermatt used to make them look so bad but it might be the other way around now

The Zermatt has beautiful grounds, which include a carousel (WOW, right?), a pond and walking trail. The gym is AMAZING - lots of equipment, a sauna and a steam room. I didn't have the chance to check out the spa facilities, unfortunately. I think it was Heather, who kindly showed us around. There's also a small pool. Our bed was comfy, and I could easily have stayed longer.

It would have been nice to have breakfast provided.
