Hotel very nice, suite excellent. Dinner at the Bistrot really nice atmosphere, food and service, exactly the opposite of the 'Gastronomique' restaurant.

Service to the room were not constant. second day, coming back from a raining day, room (suite) was not done yet...I had to wait at the bar, all wet till the room was ready. ordered water never arrived, had to ask a second time. Called Reception many times after dinner to order a few things and nobody answer, even if we were told to call 24 hours for whatever need we had.

The entire property radiates charm and tranquility. Both inside and out, the setting is elegant yet inviting—an ideal blend of historic character and refined comfort. The staff were genuinely welcoming, gracious, and delightfully good-humored, which made our stay feel personal and memorable. Our room was beautifully designed—rustic and modern in equal measure—with thoughtful details that gave it a unique sense of place. The steam shower was nothing short of amazing, a perfect way to unwind after exploring Honfleur.

We dined in the bistro and were surprised that the meal didn’t quite live up to the otherwise exceptional quality of the property—or to its Michelin recognition. While service was kind and attentive, the flavors and presentation lacked the refinement we expected from such an esteemed establishment.

This was an incredibly charming hotel. The staff were friendly and accomodating. We stayed in the newer rooms, and they were luxurious. We ate at both restaurants. Le Bistro is in a thatched separate building, and the food was delicious. We also loved the energy in this restaurant. Les Impressionists is the fancier restaurant, and the food was very good. The atmosphere is formal and service was perfect. The bar is also great with a roaring fire. During the day there is a cart with two horses that will take you down to Honfleur. The concierge, Xavier, was wonderful and helped us plan our trip to the Normandy beaches and also found us an excellent guide/driver. Finally, this hotel hosted many Impressionists who painted the views around the hotel and Honfleur. You feel a great sense of history when visiting. We will go back to this hotel on our next trip to France.

Beautiful gardens and buildings. The staff were polite and attentive.

Despite the extortionate price of the one night stay, there was no milk for tea or coffee in the room, a limited range of teabags and very little coffee for two people. Luckily I had brought my own tea bags, coffee and milk, the latter of which I was able to keep in the mini bar fridge. Had I stayed in a cheap b&b, this would have been perfectly acceptable, but not a hotel charging €500 a night. I was astounded by the cost of breakfast- which wasn’t included in the price. I also wonder how the charge of €30 to park a car within the grounds could be justified.

Comfortable room, great design, cozy, the room was well taken care of. It also smelled good and had a great shower. The restaurant was although with a very limited menue. Staff friendly. It was great to return every evening to our room.

The toilet had a light time clock that turned off every 2 minutes oe so and it drove me crazy. Location isn't ideal for Dday locations - too far. For an expensive hotel i think that leaving fruits or pastries would make a guest feel much better dince the initial price without breakfast is high

We had the breakfast basket in our room which was lovely. Enjoyed a relaxing hour with a glass of wine in the garden which was lovely. Great quiet setting which is ideal when Honfleur is really busy. Loved the bistro - ideal for us with the dog as they have a lovely outside seating area

The air con wasn’t great - we like a really cool room for sleeping and struggled to get a fan to supplement the a/c but did eventually get one so if you like a cool room make sure you ask for a fan. Plus there is no a/c in the main building rooms so ask for a room to suit. Also we were kindly given an upgrade to a first floor room which was lovely but when you have a dog a downstairs room is much better but this is not a complaint but just an observation for those travelling with dogs.

Beautiful establishment with well preserved historical houses. Everyone in the hotel is very nice especially the night bartender who constantly reshuffle the fire of the fireplace for us, and the concierge who recommended us a great walk along the beach, graden and the old port.

We stayed in the wonderful Monet room. We had to shower in the huge bathtub which is quite dangerous and cold.

The staff was very nice, and they went out of their way to make us feel special. It is a beautiful hotel.

The drinks were small and expensive. However, it did not stop us from sampling plenty of them.

The hospitality of the friendly reception is so memorable. The comfortable and warm interior is impressive and it is a good place to relax quietly. When you see the wonderful scenery there, you feel relaxed and come to rest properly. I will definitely visit this hotel again. If you visit this hotel, make sure you have a horse riding experience.
