This was a surprise for us. It is a very nice family business hotel, with the history and its charm. Our experience was like a trip to the the past into the history. Restaurant is very good. outside area in the event after a hot day was very pleasant, under the bid trees and the view to two lovely horses not far away. inside dinner was also wonderful. We even took all our diners during entire stay in Honfleur . Dinner offer is rather limited, but very nice. Do not miss local specialties. Checkin and checkout were fine with no any issues... but be warned, staff speaks only French there, very few can speak english. One nice young lady was trying hard to speak english, but ... we had to figure all out how different things names in French. We were happy that we took this hotel. It is a bit outside of Honfleur, meaning quite nights with no traffic, no noise. We could open the window and sleep with fresh see site air in the room. Spacious and free parking area, what is a luxury in Honfleur and entire coast area. Honfleur is in walking distance, and the walk is nice, going via very nice area passing one very authentic church, and nice see view from the high hill.

It is not a complain, and was not a problem for us, just to keep in mind. If you want to go to the city Honfleur, it is easy reachable by feet, still, you need to keep in mind that it has one part of the walk which is relatively steep. Again - this is not a disadvantage, just to know and be prepared for. Repeating: this was not an issue for us at all.

The photos on the website made the Family room look smaller than it was in reality. The accommodation was very comfortable and quiet and we had a lovely view of a field with 2 beautiful horses from our front door. We appreciated the blackout blinds in the rooms which made everywhere so dark that we even slept in until 9.30 one morning which is unheard of for us! The location is up a hill but we enjoy walking and we were soon in the town and by the harbour. The view from the top is also very beautiful. Honfleur was very busy so it was great to get back to the tranquility of the hotel grounds. We had a delicious, great value meal at the hotel served by a friendly and kind staff member. This hotel was a such a peaceful, relaxed place and we would highly recommend it to others.

We don't know if we could've had breakfast but being offered that option would've added to the experience. A kettle in the room for tea/coffee would've been good.

The food served for dinner was exceptional, some of the best we have experienced when eating out in France. Our short break was enhanced by the gastronomic delights they served up. We asked for a room with a walk in shower and although the room was on the first floor the shower more than met our requirement. We also found the staff friendly and helpful, they even understood my "pidgin" French.

The only thing we had difficulty with was the stairs but this was really due to our arthritic joints.

The property was a delightful old place with extensive grounds and excellent breakfast,unfortunately we could not sample the restaurant due to staff shortages The room we booked was not suitable with difficulties getting in to the bathroom and no overhead shower We ask for an upgrade and they kindly move our luggage and gave us a room with a walk in shower for a little extra cost

For me the bed was a little uncomfortable and only one rather flat pillow each

Pretty surroundings with lovely gardens and driveway with horses in the fields. Staff were friendly and humoured our awful french. Able to walk into Honfleur down the hill past the lovely old church in around 20mins (steep hill on the way home!) Quiet and nice to be out of the town. Good continental breakfast buffet. Dog friendly.

Rooms a bit dated in decor, just a bath with a handheld shower in the bathroom.

The food was delicious, one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. Staff were friendly and helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble. Cleanliness is to a high standard.

Don’t bother with the standard bedroom’s. The one we had was tired and needed completely refurbishing. The loo basin was cracked and the sink had chips out of it. No tea/ coffee making facilities.

Lovely location. Great restaurant. Clean. Plenty of secure parking. Helpful management. Taxi to the town available.

If you want or need a walk-in shower make sure you ask for one in case you get a bath. The stairs to the bedrooms were quite steep and not really suitable if you have mobility issues. Breakfast could be improved. There isn't any air-con. Bear in mind this is a 2 star hotel. And a very good one too.

Such a wonderful location above the town. Lovely grounds with lots of outdoor space and horses. A charming restaurant with a delicious menu that accommodated our gluten-free needs. Lovely walks behind the property on the small road and a short drive down the hill to town. If you have time for a leisurely walk to town be prepared for an uphill trek back.

The property is conveniently located, just within few minute drive to the port and the old town. The shower is warm and the bed is comfortable.

It will be even better if a kettle, a bottle of water and a coffee tea bar are provided inside the room.

Breakfast was standard. Location for us was exceptionaly good beeing owners of 2 german shepards. The place is only on a 30 minutes walk from the center of Honfleur. You can´t believe it sleeping in a farm in al tranquility at that distance from the village.
