The receptionist Mariette, I think that this is how she spells her name, was absolutely amazing. She was very professional, accommodating, helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The location was absolutely perfect for where we needed to get to and from. The train station was in walking distance. The hotel was nice and quiet and the breakfast was really good and more than sufficient. Again, a fabulous experience at a Holiday Inn Express, and such value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

We love the location of the Hotel. Breakfast was simple, with many great options to choose. We did late check in, and front desk staff recommended where to park for free.

I am an IHG member, I initially booked this hotel because it was a Holiday Inn Express. It is now a B&B Hotel. I did not receive my benefits, as initially promised. We are a family of 4, and were given 2 connecting rooms, but the connecting door did not open to the connecting room, so I had to sleep with one of my kids.

The staff allowed early check in. The room was quite big. The place was very clean. The quality of the breakfast was very good. There is a tram station two minutes away from the hotel and the railway station is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We took the tram to visit the city centre and sea beach. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They also allowed late departure. We were very happy with the location, hotel facility and services.

The room was clean, a decent size, a comfortable large bed and kettle. Very good selection at breakfast, replenished regularly. Staff were lovely. Good to have opportunity for locked car park. 8€. Book ahead.

Nightmare to find the garage parking. Coast the hotel and then a series of right turns to bring you in behind it. They send you the address - you need a phone or sat nav to find it! No bottled water in the room. But the worst bit, lifting the lid and having poo still in the toilet!!!!! Not great!!!!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was spotless, the staff were super friendly and breakfast was really nice! We parked on the street outside as its free 6pm-9am otherwise the secure parking was 8€, we'd have happily paid that if we couldn't get on street parking. The room was really big, plenty of spare pillows, bathroom was big and very modern. We went to Chicken Pie for dinner up the road and brought food back and ate downstairs which was allowed and nice. Highly recommend the Chicken Pie, whole rotisserie chicken, large fries and a bread for 12.50€ and it fed 3 of us with chips and bread to spare. Highly recommend this hotel too, if we're ever in the area again we'll definitely come back!

Nothing, everything was perfect!

I really enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and terrific staff. The rooms were very clean and offered everything we needed for our stay. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good, although a bit more variety wouldn't hurt. Maybe some veggies and some vegan spreads? The location of the hotel is nice and one can easily get there by public transport and by car. The room was also very quiet and we didn't hear much noise from the street, so we slept really well. I'm honestly really happy to get this much for so little money. I've stayed in hotels where a night cost double the price of this hotel, and where the experience was at most on par.

The only thing I really didn't like was the toilet paper. I'm pretty sure I could read a book through it if I tried, lol. This is legit the only reason I'm only giving 9/10 points (because apart from this, I don't think one could possibly expect more for the money!)

Staff was absolutely great, helpful and polite. Definitely recommend! Very supportive. The hotel is in a prime location and you can easily park out front outside of hours (between 5pm and 7pm I think)

The smell in some of the rooms. I think the carpet is being cleaned and the smell of the dirt comes up and stays in the air. My room smelled like a dirty wet cloth but the staff managed to move me without any problems. On the second day after cleaning my room the same smell was there unfortunately.

It is simple but everything you need is available. The hotel is clean and fairly modern.

It is perfect if you need to be at the University, its a relatively long walk to the beach and the city center. However, the tramway stops directly in front of the hotel, so you can also use that.

The price is reasonable, and the rooms are clean. The location is super convenient, close to the train station and tram stops. The breakfast is delicious, and both the day and night shift staff are friendly and quick to help with any issues I had.

delay at check in due to other guests having many demands. Breakfast area was quite cramped/busy. some cutlery not clean.
