A very nice little hotel, beautifully set on the rivers edge, with super friendly and accommodating staff. The room was big, clean and very comfortable. As dog owners, we got great service, and our dog was very welcomed everywhere. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of hot and cold items.

The only thing we missed a little bit was a small fridge in the room. Other than that, no complaints.

Gorgeous view on the lake. Super flexible access and very friendly lady/staff. Delicious breakfast. Entry by keybox is very organised. The family lives nearby and is ready to help with anything (we got plasters for our blisters from hiking ☺️)

Nothing to report, I’d go again. There are not much shops in the area, restaurants not always open, so be prepared if you are hiking.

Fantastic view of the lake from the balcony. Excellent rooms..very clean. Staff very friendly and the breakfast was good with lots of choices.. Not cheap, but if you like a little luxury, it's worth a visit.

Had to wind the door shutter down as the curtains were not wide enough to cover windows and door! You have to call a local number for an entry code as nobody was on site when I arrived...which can be costly from a UK mobile..

The location is the main feature of this hotel. It's just near the lake and the ferry boat pick-up point. The hotel is very clean, it has a small communal room with a good coffee maker and a well equipped mini-bar. The clean and well kept bathroom had a great shower, with plenty of room for toiletries. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious. Fresh bread of all sorts, eggs, bacon, muesli, juices, tea and coffee as much as you like. Most important: the bed we had was really comfortable.

The only downside was that upon arrival we were told that the room we booked didn't have a lake view, but a street view. This was a disappointment, since we've booked this room for a birthday occasion. But since we've booked very last minute, this was apparently the last room available. The description on Booking says 'view', and in the pictures you see both a lake view from the balcony, as well as the street view. So you're not sure which you're getting. Be mindful of this.

Everything was perfect, absolutely spotless. Beds comfortable, room spacious and breakfast with everything one could imagine- even down to cherries and rice pudding. Plus spectacular views across the lake. When arriving you will find a small relax area with hot beverages and delicious cakes as a welcome gesture. The Sachertorte was magnificent! We can wholeheartedly recommend this property

Location, location, location! Beautiful rooms with lake views. Boat up the river right outside the door. Beautiful interior. Clean and we really appreciated the afternoon tea, tea/coffee always available and honesty mini-bar system. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Would have been nice to have an extra towel for our child, but we made do.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. It is in very close proximity of Eifel National Park. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing and there is a very good restaurant approximately 100-200 meters away. Satellite TV was a bonus because America movies/shows can be watched in the original English version. I requested a frig in my room and it was provided.

There are very few restaurants in the area.

Amazing location, attentive and welcoming staff, everything was super clean. Our dog was welcome not just in the room, but also in the breakfast area. There was free cake placed in the lobby for the guests every day.

Breakfast was great, I wished it had some vegan options to choose from.

The view from our room/bed was amazing - Directly to the lake. The staff in the kitchen was very friendly and provided extra/different food for my dietary limitation (just let them know in advance).

1. The design of the room is very old. 2. The radiator in our room was making very loud noises so we turned it off (we didn't alert the hotel about it). 3. The official pictures of the hotel aren't representative anymore as the lake dried up a lot. 4. There aren't any restaurants open in the evening that are close to the hotel, and even the ones that are within driving distance you should book in advance - The staff could have warned us in advance or upon arrival.
