We’ve stayed at Munch Hotel three times now, always either just after landing or the night before flying out. It’s the perfect place to relax before or after a flight – only a short ride from the airport, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The air-conditioning is a big plus (definitely a must!), and the cleanliness really stands out. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome every time. We recommend using the inDrive app to get a taxi – there are always drivers nearby and the prices are very reasonable from here. If you’re looking for a reliable, clean, and convenient hotel near the airport, this is definitely the one. Highly recommended for short stays before or after flying!

The price is good for what you get, this is close to the airport but not walking distance unless you want to walk 30 minutes. Expect to pay between $10 for a taxi ride during normal hours- For $16 Nica taxi picked us up at 4am to take us and was a lot cheaper than other companies we contacted. There is a good grilled food restaurant within walking distance at the end of the road. The hotel will also call in food delivery orders if requested. They have a nice dining area but we did not use the free breakfast option due to flight times. The neighborhood is safe and we had no problems walking around in the evening. The staff were very pleasant. The hotel kept some excess luggage of ours at their facility while we went to the Corn Islands (baggage allowance is very low 30 lbs) without charging a fee. We booked two separate nights a week apart. The air conditioning was cold and they offer secure parking if you have a rental car. They offer drinkable water if you have your own container to fill. We would stay again.

Everyone has different expecations but the rooms were clean enough for an overnight stay. We did find some hair on the floor of the shower so it left us feeling like the room wasnt completely cleaned as it should. We booked two rooms on each night we stayed. The showers have a container which dispenses body wash which was nice but one of the dispensers had water added to it which diluted the soap and the handsoap containers by the sink leaked. I write this to say dont expect a spotless room but it definatly was not gross.

Perfect location for the airport, an easy 15 minute walk on level ground to the airport and to a really nice restaurant across the street from the airport.. On a very quiet dead-end street. The whole neighborhood is amazingly quiet, especially being so close to a major airport. The surrounding area has a pleasant almost rural feel to it, again you'd never guess you were so close to the airport. Several tiny eateries and stores within a few blocks, and some good produce stands. The hotel is beautiful inside, peaceful with a lovely little garden. My room was excellent, very comfortable, with all the amenities and tastefully decorated. The staff were great and very helpful. An excellent breakfast is included, and with protein! Loved it.

The staff (the German man and the night guard) were very lovely and super helpful throughout. The room was cold and clean - exactly what you need before your flight. The hotel is in an area with very little around but it is possible to order food to the door via delivery apps. The night staff offer a late night/ early morning shuttle to the airport for $6 USD / or C$ 220 and it got me to the airport promptly for 4 a.m.

The price felt a bit steep but I was too early for the breakfast, so maybe that would have made up for it.

The property was exactly what we were looking for! It’s extremely close to the airport (although the taxi drivers will still charge you $10 for the less than 1km trip!) in a very quiet neighborhood. We arrived at about 1AM and the owner checked us in quickly and efficiently even though we woke him up. The rooms are simple and comfortable with excellent cold air conditioning. We were only going to stay one night, but we added a tour of Granada and stayed two nights. There is breakfast every morning, and it is GOOD! The eggs are from the hens out back! Everyone was extremely friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. The security guard directed us to a pulperia nearby for snacks. The property is so close to the airport that we just walked over when it was time to pick up our rental car. This was a very easy, pleasant stay for our short time in Managua.

It was an excellent hotel to stay in close to the airport, which is what we wanted. We arrived from Managua very late/early morning and it only took us a few minutes to drive there from the airport. There was a man there late, so you can check-in late and he was very very friendly and helpful. He actually made the stay very good for us. He took his time with us, made the payment with him quick and easy. Furthermore, he explained everything we needed to know about the next morning and gave us instructions to help us get to our next place. Also, he allowed us to put some of our food in the staff fridge so we can keep it preserved. In terms of the room, it was actually much better than we expected, especially for the price. The room was very big, had a lot of space to store and hang your clothes. It had a small tv, which worked fine, a desk and a very spacious bed. The air con worked perfectly and the room was nice and cool. The bathroom was also very good, decent shower pressure, clean and a normal sink to use. There was no noise at this hotel so you could get a nice sleep (however, we did wake up very early to go to our next place, so not sure how it would be a bit later on). I would definitely stay here again for my next stay near the airport.

Nothing was bad, it was actually everything we wanted for a close stay next to the airport.

It’s fairly close to the airport. About 100 cardobas to take you to the airport. The neighbourhood is sketchy but the hotel has a gate and they don’t let anyone just to come in. Seems like all Managua is not that safe anyway. So just be careful as always. They have a cute little garden and a couple of cats. It’s a family business and they are doing their best to accommodate you. You can pay with cash or card. Water and free refills are available, some cold drinks as well. Free breakfast. They have AC. It doesn’t get super cool in the room but good enough

Hotel Munch has a very good location near the airport. It is in a safe neighbourhood- so walking feels/is safe. The staff is super helpful. We had questions about bus connections to San Carlos and they helped with everything and are knowledgable where and when to go. We could also store our luggage. The internet is also very fast and reliable; I had to work while travelling and it was a relieve that I could video conference without problems.

It was perfect to stay there after arriving at the airport. The hotel is vers close to the airport. The room was very simple, it was clean, the air conditionning was working well and the bed sheets were very confortable. The breakfast was local and very good! It was also great because they recommend me a taxi driver Patrick who was very kind, funny and helpful. If you come there I would highly recommend you to ask for his services 😊

At first glance the neighborhood looks sketchy, but it’s actually very cool and once inside the hotel itself is charming, clean and very comfy. It is simple and quiet and very accommodating. Staff is super friendly and helpful in all respects. Close to the airport and easy to get to and from. Would definitely stay here again.

Not much of anything. Shower is lukewarm but after a day exploring Managua was actually very refreshing.
