The hotel is situated in the heart of the Black Forest and close to touristic hotspots. The owners are very friendly. Breakfast is basic bur there is enough variety to choose from different kinds of bread, meat and cheese and sweet things. When the bar is not open there is an honesty bar at the accomodation with cooled drinks and local beers and ice cream. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is clean. Beds are comfortable and it was nice to have a table and 4 chairs in the room to be able to sit down and play some games. At the time of our visit the kitched was in renovation so we had to go out for diner on a daily basis, but this was well communicated up front.

1) Location: The hotel is in the middle of the black forest. Easy to reach a number of point of interest. Maximum drive one-way was 1hr 40 mins. 2) The Owner: We were warmly welcomed by the owner of the hotel. He spoke English and was very friendly. He gave us advice re good eateries in the surrounding places. He also was very approachable and supported us when I and some members of the group were unwell. 3) The rooms: I have a family of 5 people and was allocated in a spacious room, comprising 2 bedrooms, a lobby a bathroom and a terrace overlooking the mountains above. The room was well lighted and included tv amenities + a hair dryer. 4) The breakfast: It was abundant and adequate, verging on healthy, including bread - which can be toasted, fruit of the area, eggs, tea and coffees [which are prepared by the Hotel staff], veg etc. Everything was fresh and prepared like being at home.

1) Internet: On our arrival, it was weak and my kids made use of my mobile data, but eventually it improved considerably - observed that during our stay a number of workmen were at the outlet. 2) The restaurant: This is to be considered as a recommendation and a constructive criticism. The eating area is where the breakfast is undertaken. It is well kept and easy to accommodate the patrons residing in the hotel or staying at the nearby guest houses. I recommend that this restaurant is concluded asap. I am sure the owner and his staff can deliver a good service to their guests [based on the type of breakfast prepared].

The location is fantastic and parking is easy out front. The lift made it easy to get bags to the top floor and the hosts are super friendly. We had a family room which was a great size for us and our older teenage children. We didn't try the restaurant as it was under renovation but that would be a great addition. This is a good value for money hotel. Clean, comfy beds.

There was nothing we didn't like; we asked for earlier check in and got it. Maybe an extra key card, and a few spare towels.

The accomodation was very comfortable and very homely. The owners were very friendly and helpful. If you like to stay away from towns etc this place is amazing being out of town and very quiet. It might be a little out of the way but worth it and easy to get anywhere. Breakfast was great as it had everything one needs to start the day.

I get it you're in the Black Forest. Just know there's no AC for hot summer days.

The location is great for hiking. The hotel is located in a very small village in a valley surrounded by forests, typical Blackforest. The staff was very nice.

The location is somewhat remote, public transportation is lacking. If you are arriving in the evening you may find that there are no options to get dinner nearby.

Location great, calm/quite/serene. You wake up to the sound of water flowing down the small stream right in front of the hotel. Room size is fantastic with good amenities. Hotel Manager is good too. Did not try hotel breakfast, assuming it would be good as well.

Wi-fi could be better but hotel manager told he that there are lot of access points however still the signal strength was poor. Apart from this, no other complaints.

Location, staff friendly and accommodating as we had motorbikes he allowed us to put them out of sight. Clean and Comfortable rooms.

The views are great! This is the next best thing to having your own cottage in the mountains!! The staff was so welcoming, the room had everything we needed and the breakfast buffet was perfect before heading to the nearby zip lines. Parking was easy and we had a great stay!

The hotel was nice, well kept and had the best prices around. The beds were firm but comfortable and the pillows so soft. They also have a nice parking area even for large vehicles.
