I had a wonderful stay at this resort. The kitchen facilities in the room were exceptionally clean and well-equipped, with all kitchenware provided being of the premium WMF brand—perfect for a seamless cooking and dining experience. The rooms are incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. The location is excellent—slightly off the city, making it a peaceful and ideal getaway for relaxation. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth, even outside regular working hours, which was a major plus. Additionally, the staff was very responsive and promptly answered all our questions on the booking chat channel, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

The sauna and steam bath are unisex, which is a nice feature, but having separate facilities for males and females could make the experience more comfortable for many guests.

The property is a bit dated but it’s tidy and clean. No frills.

The steam room smelled of mold. We couldn’t use it. We didn’t realize there was no option for breakfast at the restaurant and that break orders needed to be submitted by 5pm so that was disappointing. I drove to VS to the shop at 9pm to get some food for our breakfast. The Rewe there was well-stocked! Also there was no thermostat in our room and it was quite warm so we had to open windows. 😕

No fan for hot days, a lot of paying for extras that should be included like 7 dollars a day parking if you wanted to park in the garage, and 59 euro pet fee was a little excessive. No complimentary coffee for a coffee machine in your room so forced to buy coffee.

The kitchen had everything what is needed for people who do cooking. There was enough pace to move around and the outside space utilization was an added bonus. Shower area is a bit to narrow. Somewhere it was difficult for us to find the room.We were searching like a labyrinth. Here I think it will very helpful if they put proper signboards everywhere with the building number and apartment number .

The fee for dogs is really expensive. It does not make sense to pay 56 euros.It is abusive to ask for it if you stay only 1 night. The hotel should review the concept for short stays.

We love clean the place was and the kitchen was complete with appliances and kitchenware! They even provided the dishwashing soap, sponge and wipes. The bathrooms were clean and had enough toilet papers too! There’s a lot to do around the area and even throughout the facility itself. My kids enjoyed the playground, giant chess pieces and giant connect four games. I think one of my favorites is the 24 hour mini shopette. It was stocked with basic things you need such as butter, wursts, cereals, bread, local honey, wine and beers, milk, toothbrush…etc. The staff were friendly too! It was also convenient to have a restaurant there that serves dinner. The location was just 30mins away from the World’s Larges Cuckoo Clock and so much more! We also had our medium dog with us and we were happily surprised to see that there was a dog dish for food and water! Such a dog friendly place! Although there’s a one time dog fee, the longer you stay the better. Overall, we are super happy to have found this place and we plan to stay here again! Highly recommended!

they do no tell you upfront that there is an additional charge to use the indoor parking facilities! also reception staff were not flexible with accommodating requests

.The apartment was really nice. We didn't have a view but the apartment is ideal for long stay (even though we only stayed for 1 night). There are also plenty of hiking routes which could be done from the hotel so no need to drive. I would definitely recommend

I thought the additional fee for a dog was quite high. It actually is very much the same as we paid for 1 person which is very high and is not included in the price on Booking.com. This was only added by the accommodation afterwards.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. Based on the request they even provided a fan (though it was not really needed as the facilities has excellent fresh air. Easy to reach and quite nice place to explore the blackforest area. Excellent and clean sauna facility.

The children playroom and the playground can do with some refresh. Double bed option would also be comforable which was missing.

Though a resort it was very quiet and private. There were activities for kids and the restaurant served delicious food. We loved the fresh bread service and the honesty shop with basics at the resort itself. Very family friendly and staff helpful. The area is close to many great locations like triberg, titisee etc. With only 45 min to 1hours drives.
