The hotel provided a guest card that would have gotten us into several local attractions for free. We used the one for the waterfall park and the local museum, but didn't have time for others. There were so many options available, like boat tours, a train ride through the mountains, and museums. The breakfast was very ample and set so lovely with your room number at a table.

I wish we would have known about the guest card earlier so we could have reserved a trip on the steam railroad through the mountains.

The two ladies at the restaurant/bakery/reception were kind and very helpful in checking us in. I believe they are the family that owns the hotel\restaurant. The room was exactly what we needed - plenty of room (larger than other hotels where we stayed), walk in shower with good water pressure and hot water, tea kettle, no stairs to climb, lovely Mountain View and clean. The balcony was a bonus. Nice place to have coffee/tea/wine and enjoy the view. There was an option for paid breakfast, which we usually don’t have breakfast. We did have lunch and of course tried the Black Forest Cake - very good! Parking was included and the property is straight across from the waterfall and very short walk to the museum and shops. We would stay at this hotel in the future and recommend to friends.

Not a complaint. We had housekeeping everyday. There was one day we thought we would receive fresh towels and didn’t, but I left the assessment to let management know, as I think we misunderstood. In any case, this was not an issue and NOT a complaint.

We were able to park for free right outside the hotel. Good check in, very friendly and helpful. We were given cards which included free entry to a few local attractions. We were also told the restaurant was closing in an hour, but given menus to help choose quickly. We were the only 2 people in the restaurant, but the service and food was excellent. Highly recommend the black forest ice cream! The room was spacious and there was a large balcony off the bathroom.

Not a big problem, but there's no lift so had to carry large suitcases up 2 flights of stairs.

The room was beautiful and super clean. We had Room 9 which was on the second floor and had a view out over the town and into the valley. The desk host gave us vouchers to see a waterfall nearby which was a pleasant surprise as we didn’t know it was there when we booked. It was really lovely and I recommend viewing it if you have the time. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the shower was a decent size. We did not eat at the restaurant so can’t speak to that, but we were happy to see vegan options offered there.

The room was very spacious for the three of us with a wonderful view. It is in a great location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the waterfall. Free parking. Good food at the restaurant which is open until 8.

We asked for ice for our cooler to keep our snacks cool and got a very small bowl. No ice machine. We ordered two slices of black forest cakes to split between the 3 of us and were charged 1.30 for the third fork. There is no lift but we expected that.

Nice large room with a large double (but in fact two singles pushed together which perhaps wasn't ideal, as separate single mattresses moved about under thin double 'topper' mattress) and a separate adjoining room with two twin beds. Very large & modern bathroom. Very friendly staff and good breakfast with hot and cold options. Clean & modern hotel closed to attractions with complimentary water falls pass!

Nice room, very clean. Just opposite Triberg Falls which are quite spectacular. You get a free pass to the falls & museum for staying at the hotel. Parking just outside on the road. Restaurant area very nice and spacious. Evening meal was very nice and the breakfast very good. Staff are very nice and helpful and speak English

An excellent place to stay for the night, the staff were very friendly and helpful, it’s position was very close to the Main Street in the town, also the parking facilities were good especially for our motorbike .

The only downside to this property was that there wasn’t a lift so taking our luggage in or out to the parking area meant going up quite a lot of steps, for anyone with mobility issues this would make things hard for them.

Room was comfortable. Staff helpful. Stairs annoying as there was no lift. Breakfast is plentiful. Dinner was tasty and good size portions. The garden area is so relaxing.

From the garden to our room on the top floor there were 6 flights of stairs.

Absolutely breath-taking views from the restaurant and our guest room!

Parking was a huge problem, but later in the evening, we were able to move our vehicle nearer to the hotel. Not too sure if the staff was happy that we were there at first, but the coolness wore off, and we were warmly welcomed at dinner. Food was delicious and priced right!
