Found here my second Home right after Ireland - didn't feel this level of peace and tranquility for a long time. Love everything about the place - rooms , people , management , - place to chill - Real Sea View - beach right behind the hotel. Hotel rooms very comfy - apartments - plenty of space with with proper kitchen - great place for some family time ( as of me apartment bit too big for a single guy - no fun in cooking for yourself). Lovely grocery store and wonderful restaurant in place - nice people everywhere Initially I came here for a week but due course lost track of time and I think It will be my fourth week here ( lucky enough to have some spare time in my pocket). Brunei itself seems to be a Happy Country - no income tax (hope worldwide politicians read this) and no VAT on products - I went bit crazy with shoes and football jerseys in KB town ( and yes despite low prices you will still get discount:) ).Fair Play and Respect to Sultan and ALL the people of Brunei - my Kindest Regards and Thank you. So if you are planning for some relaxing and peaceful holidays - this is the place to be. Thank you Brunei and Seaview for smile on your faces.

Loved everything.

The air conditioner in my initial room was working, but it only functioned like a fan, blowing air that wasn’t cold. However, I appreciate that the staff quickly addressed my complaint and changed my room to one with a properly working, cold air conditioner (look at the given photo). Appearance-wise, I loved 2nd hotel room so much! It was aesthetically pleasing and had a charming vibe. The hotel Wi-Fi worked great and was fast. Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently surrounded by Coffee Bean, Easy Way, Soon Lee, and a small clothing shop tucked between Easy Way and Soon Lee. There's also a Standard Chartered ATM nearby. The hotel has a large parking area with plenty of spots, so there’s no need to worry about finding a space. Plus, it's free! The sea view was wonderful—I had a room on the 2nd floor, and the view was peaceful and calming. The swimming pool, with a depth of 1m to 1.5m, is perfect and safe for families with kids. I also appreciated the affordable price, especially since I booked through Booking.com, making it even cheaper. Overall, I came to this hotel to swim and relax. I shared my feedback directly with the reception, but the only response I got was, "Yes, it's because this is an old hotel," which felt dismissive. My intention was to help the hotel improve, as I believe it has great potential due to its location. However, proper maintenance is crucial—especially for facilities like the shower room, the toilets (both near the pool and in the rooms), and basic amenities like functional Brunei TV channels. Even as an old hotel, it should have at least the basic upkeep to attract more guests.

There were some issues during my stay. The television worked, but there were no functioning channels—not even Brunei TV channels. It felt more like a decoration than a usable feature. I asked for help with the TV, but even the staff couldn’t get it to work. Thankfully, the Wi-Fi kept me entertained on my phone, but for older guests without phones, the sea view, the beach, and the swimming pool might be their only source of entertainment. The place also lacks maintenance. The swimming pool near the reception was fine, but the nearby toilets smelled damp, though they were clean. However, the small shower room by the pool was unusable—it wasn’t clean and seemed neglected for ages.

The place was exactly as expected. Staff nice, the facilities a little tired but perfectly adequate and pleasant. I shall use again.

Everything was within the possibilities of the environment.

The location was ideal with coffee bean, Pollo Pollo, Easy Way and Soon lee being downstairs so we didn't have to go out far. Starbucks was also across the street. The view from our room was also nice to look at in the mornings after waking up. The mini fridge was also spacious and really cold so drinks were refreshingly cold.

The bathroom could have been more cleaner, the shower curtain had a bit of black mold. The blankets could have been more comfortable as they were really thin

staff so friendly and helpful, the location easy to access, Nearby Starbucks, coffee bean and others shopping marts, the view was confront by the sea & pool. comfy with the bedroom very clean, tidy & organised, I'm really satisfied & very standard. its worth with the prices.

as I'm just an ordinary person & undemanding type, so i guessed its satisfied me as it was standard as i needed.

I like the view, the bed is comfortable, the staff are friendly and thank you for the help during my hard time because my car broke down. Thank you so much. Reaalllyyyy appreciate it. ☺

The blanket is a bit itchy. Maybe because my husband quite sensitive. I recommend you to change the materials type for the blanket. (The brown blanket is not comfortable)

Nice view from room to the garden na beach. Unfortunattely is not possible to swim in sea as there are crocodiles. But this problem is in entire Brunei.

Nice place and our hotel view at beach..to buy foods very convenient just down stairs have Coffebean,Pollo2 and soon lee😍 Staff at receiption very friendly. Will stay again next trip😍🤩🤩

The room is dusty also living room. No local tv channel. Very dark room/bathroom,aircon noisy(Master bedroom) No microwave.. need to improve. Thank you.

The rooms were big and clean. The receptionist was friendly and next to the hotel there is a place to eat that is open until late and a bus stop to go to the other cities.
