I had a room, and it was very clean and comfortable, including the shared bathroom and lounge. Locker for skis are also available. Layout and facilities are very well thought through. Though a distance from the ski lifts and slopes, it is well connected to the major lift areas through hotel and public buses. Very convenient with a large supermarket Max Value and convenient store Lawson next door.

Hotel was not accessible by bus from Hirafu Welcome Centre when I reached at about 9 plus pm in the evening. The centre was not manned and the coach driver was not helpful. Took a taxi through the GO app after getting help from a fellow traveller. Suggest the hotel provides bus timing at booking site. Hotel and public buses may not be punctual. Give some buffer time if schedule is time sensitive, e.g. catching a train.

This is my second stay in 2 years. The Hotel is clean and easy to get to from Kutchan Station. There is a bus to the mountain- basically door to door service. There is a Max Value supermarket next door where u can buy sushi and bento boxes for dinner. There is Lawsons in front of the hotel where we bought sandwiches for lunch. It is a good value accommodation especially for Niseko which can be very expensive. Breakfast was a bonus with a good selection of Japanese and western food and of course the on site Onsen- perfect after a day of skiing.

Everything was perfect- this is my go to place in Niseko

Microwave, hot water was provided in the common area. Bath was great and well maintained. Located next to the grocery store so the necessities were readily accessible. The common lounge area was large and there were books and tv. Our room was quiet throughout our stay.

We were provided with a set of towels but did not realise we had to reuse them throughout our stay. After our bath in the evening, we left them in the towel laundry basket in the bath area. When we requested for another set of towels for our bath in the morning we were told we had to pay 220yen per set. It's not expensive, however it would have been better if it was communicated when we checked-in.

What a great concept, it’s a capsule hotel but with the space and comfort of a hotel room. The room itself isn’t lockable but there is a lockable drawer under the bed and a big locker where you can store your baggages if you worry about your valuables. Free shuttle bus to and from the slopes (Hanazono and Hirafu) are convenient and reliable. Right next to a big supermarket (MaxValu) and within walking distance to many konbini and restaurants.

There is no longer free shuttle bus to Kutchan Station so if you arrive by train you need to take local Niseko bus to “Lerch Park (レルヒ公園前)” stop for 200 yen. Also not the hotel’s fault but many guests still speak loudly on their phone inside the capsules, which can be heard by all the neighbors.

Free shuttle bus to and from Niseko ski area. The shuttles were convenient and came often enough that I could easily rely on them to get me to and from the hill at a reasonable time. The fact that it has an onsen is a huge bonus. Common area is lovely and the facilities are overall clean and feel upscale. Kutchan is a great town with tons of restaurants and amenities without the big prices of the Niseko village. You won’t regret staying here

I was in a pod room and while the rooms are comfortable and felt luxurious, you’re still in a hallway with 50+ other people so it gets noisy with people walking the hallway, opening and closing doors etc.. not to mention the symphony of snoring. Earplugs are mandatory for this stay

Very nice and clean environment, including the shared facilities. Though a distance (about 20 to 30 min bus ride) from the 2 closest ski resorts, bus shuttle is provided. It is also located by a large MaxValue store, a smaller Lawson and within walking distance from several restaurants. There is also an alternative free public shuttle bus from ski resort to MaxValue nearby, and Kutchan train station, timing available at Google Map.

Last hotel shuttle bus from Hirafu Welcome Centre is at 6 pm. I arrived at Hurafu Welcome Centre late at night and ended up ordering a taxi using the GO app. All the shuttle buses may not be on time, which led to us missing our train.

Likable, easy, what I needed

The curtains in front of the spa section for men is dirty, and should be cleaned as everyone passes this and see this. The bins for tampons etc should have a bigger size as they get filled faster than the cleaning personnel can empty them. I really wanted to bring the blue clothes home and wanted buying the ones I used. The personal just laughed -both of the ones I asked. I felt disappointed for being turned down and not willing to give me a solution.

The hotel has a good location close to the Niseko resort (cca 7 km). It is well equipped. We liked especially the onsen (spa). The breakfasts were amazing. A supermarket is just 200m away (next building).

We’ve got just 2 entrance cards (keys) for each room which is a little be annoying if you are 4 at the room. We would also appreciate a wardrobe or a shelve to can store our staff (there is no place to put cloths instead of your duffle).

We chose this location due to its proximity to the trailhead of Mt. Yotei, a 10-minute drive from the property. A big supermarket is next to the property, and a few good restaurants are within 10 10-minute walking distance. The hotel is brand new and from what I have heard, caters mainly to the winter sports crowd, but this is a perfect base for trekkers as well. The toilets are shared but do not worry about hygiene. Like most places in Japan, the toilets are in spick span condition. The room is not very big but still felt spacious.

Nothing to dislike here.

A pod hotel was a totally new experience for myself - but really on my list of things I had to try. I really appreciate the idea of a small space sharing with other people for the experience of living closer to each other on this planet with a set of clear rules, sharing common areas but still maintaining a small, private , made possible by showing proper respect for each other. The resulting lower environmental impact of using less concrete and other resources to build, using less land space, less energy for air conditioning or heating, hot water system, etc. In short, it is an study of how to live in a smaller space, using less resources and not living alone, since loneliness is one of our biggest mental challenge, especially with our fast ageing population. Torifito Pods were an absolutely amazing experience. Very well managed. Checking in you feel like in a 5star hotel - dealing with friendly and competent staff in uniforms even wearing a tie! The place is very tidy, comfortable pods with TV, aircon and dimmable lighting. Other travelers were mostly respectful in regards to noise (some still don't know how to put their phones on silent and alarms going off at odd times) and keeping common areas tidy. The onsen (more like oversized hot tub- regular water no sulfur / minerals ) felt really clean and accessible at all times. Lawson is right next door so snacks and drinks readily available. I even met some people working in the ski areas staying long term and all seem to enjoy the place. Definitely a great experience and my compliments to management and staff!
