The owners/staff of the hotel are super nice and friendly. They are always happy to help with a smile and they even gave our little son a small children's book at checkout, farm themed (very nice touch). There is a small very well kept playing ground. The breakfast buffet has plenty to choose from and is very tasty. You're not right at Bodensee but it's a short drive to Friedrichshafen and Lindau and Meersburg are also very close. So you have a nice quiet area very close to the busier parts of the lake.

Our family room was on the top floor and it was quite warm as the weather was sunny and warm. The hotel has fans available but it was not enough to cool down the rooms properly. This is more of a comment than an actual complaint, since we would go back there, given the chance.
