Spacious room, big bed, separate toilet to shower - massive shower, hot water, room cleaned everyday with 2nd daily linen change and quiet rooms. Excellent for family with kids. Delicious meals at restaurant with no limitation on times to order certain foods - which was really a blessing because of our child's needs, delivery of food and drinks in room, and at beachside. Wonderful staff that were very accommodating with any requests or questions asked. The Little Mermaid Dive crew were also absolutely awesome. My daughter did her open water scuba certificate with MK and absolutely loved it. My husband also did his Thresher Shark dive with them and loved it - said he was well cared for by his Dive Guide. Then my daughter and I did the Thresher Shark dive on a different day and loved it. The Dive crew were well organised, and everything went without a hitch.

The hot water did stop in one of our rooms at the end - i am sure the staff would have sorted it, but we never got a chance to ask before we left. 3 days before we left, it poured down raining and roof leaked in one of our rooms over the bed so we had to move it and put stuff under to collect water but it was one night and the staff were getting maintenance staff to check it. There were 2 flights of stairs up to rooms, but it was exercise.

I had a fantastic stay at the Little Mermaid Hotel on Malapascua Island. The breakfasts were delicious and varied, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The hotel is located right next to the beach, which made it incredibly convenient and relaxing. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything we needed. One of the highlights was the access to a professional dive center just next to the hotel – perfect for diving enthusiasts. I highly recommend this place!

The property was good value for money, clean and right on the beautiful beach with breakfast overlooking the ocean - beautiful views! The diving at little mermaid was our favourite of the whole trip! Santi our dive instructor was fantastic so full of energy and professional. She made our dives very enjoyable along with the rest of little mermaid team. I also completed my SSI with Santi as my instructor and she did a fantastic job making me feel very comfortable and safe in water. The dive shop also organised use to see the thresher sharks which was an amazing experience. We also organised a trip to Kalangaman Island which was another highlight of our trip, an absolute must see, the most beautiful island and water.

Must be by cash - can access £140 per day on island ATM so plan on advance if you are diving.

Great beachfront location, quiet yet close to shops & the night market. The resort is well-maintained, the food is excellent, and the staff is super friendly & helpful. The dive center is professional & well-organized. Instructor Santi and Manager Kevin were always there to help. Great Crew as well! Well-maintained equipment, clear briefings & incredible dives – so many Thresher Sharks!

I very much enjoyed the resort. The staff of the resort are friendly and helpful, The resort is also has adjoining scuba shop of which I dove with daily. Excellent dive staff and very good value. The room sare very nice with daily housekeeping. The garden courtyard full of fragrance of the beautiful bougainvillea, nd has wonderfully beach front The 2nd floor restaurants provides good selection breakfast, lunch and dinner

Nothing to complain about.

The location is perfect. The restaurant on the terrace offers a fantastic view and great food. The dive center's service was excellent—no complaints at all.

The tap water is salty—not as salty as seawater, likely sourced from a deep well—but it would be better if it were desalinated. The room cleaning service could also be improved. The air conditioning is too loud, making it difficult to sleep comfortably.

Accommodation was sufficient and good. Provided drinking water bottle for the room. Diving with the team was exceptional. Kevin was a great teacher and experienced in the Thresher locations. I can recommend Little Mermaid Dive Resort for your Advanced training and for Thresher Shark diving.

Very large room with a large double bed.

Room on the ground floor is very dark. Booking with breakfast is pointless if you dive with a dive center that is not in the hotel as most dives start early and they will not provide a packed breakfast if you don't dive with them. Low water pressure makes you compromise between pressure and temperature in the shower.

Amazing location on Bounty beach. It is actually in the middle of the beach but not noisy somehow. Great staff taking care of the rooms as well as the dive shop. The King room with see view was clean and with little terrasse and direct access to the beach.

Actually there was no bed sheet. Only a mattress cover and a blanket. I found it a bit uncomfortable.

All around a very nice stay, the people there especially where really nice and Open with good service. we also did our divers License in the shop and it was a perfect experience, really nice coaches who can speak English and German. if you like diving definitely go here! The Hotel is very clean and nice with good room, the only thing why it is not a 10/10 is that the room had no Ac. However we still had a fan, just if you cant stand a little bit of heat maybe keep that in mind.
