The property is truly beautiful. The perfect marriage of a historic building which has modern luxurious fittings and features that are still in keeping with the building. We stayed in the attic room which was huge and felt incredibly luxurious. The fabulous bathroom, ingenious lighting options and massive comfortable bed made for a really chic room worthy of any style magazine! The location is perfect too, in the quieter, tranquil side of Bruges yet still very conveniently placed to access all the sites easily by foot. Jan and Lieve were charming, helpful hosts and provided a delicious breakfast every morning. All in all I can't imagine there's anywhere better you could stay in the stunning city of Bruges. We have previously paid much more for hotels that offer far less luxury so Anna9 is undoubtedly fantastic value for money.

The location of the accommodation is excellent. You can easily reach the main square on foot. It is also situated along a very beautiful canal, and from the moment you step out of the guesthouse, a very charming walk begins. The room we stayed in was very spacious, with a good-quality mattress and pillows, even though we had requested extra ones. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay, and we would definitely go back if we had the chance. Bruges is a wonderful city that is well worth spending a few days in and exploring.

If you choose the guesthouse for the air conditioning, keep in mind that its performance is not very good. After some time of use, it occasionally makes a vibrating noise that is quite disturbing, especially at night when you want to rest. I don't know if it's something the owners can or are willing to fix. However, in our case, although we didn't end up needing the air conditioning because the temperature was quite pleasant, we turned it off because we couldn't tolerate the vibration it was making from time to time.

A beautifully cosy, quaint little B&B right on the canal side. Anna9 was the perfect find, a quiet retreat only 10 minutes walking distance to the main square. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in, the room was clean and featured a lovely fireplace which was nice to come back to on an evening! The hosts were warm and welcoming. I only had breakfast one morning but it was delicious, an array of meats, cheeses & breads, and they even did a little plate of bacon and scrambled egg! I would highly recommend this stunning B&B - a true homely ambiance 💕

Everything was perfect!

Canal side luxury room which was very spacious with a massive bed. Lieve was very welcoming, giving us information on the room and surrounding area where the city centre was only a 10 minute walk away. Beautiful house filled with antiques and a garden I would have liked to enjoy more but time and the weather put paid to that.

There wasn’t anything really except the weather turned cold when we were there and we couldn’t find any instructions on using the fire so after asking Lieve the next day, she gave us a remote control to use the fire. I think this should be added to the welcome pack to inform guests. We paid for breakfast the next day at 20 euros each - it was lovely but maybe they could look at including it in the room price?

Pros: Excellent location and walking distance to the center of town. We had a canal view on the second floor. It was clean, spacious, and beautiful. The host welcomed us so graciously with recommendations and the house is lovely with a garden in the back. The views were wonderful. In spite of some odd arrangements below, we still realy enjoyed our stay. Cons: The bathroom situation is not ideal. It did not have a bathroom door that separated from the hallway. It was meant to be a unit for 4 people and the bathroom lacked privacy. In addition to not having a door, there was only a half wall that separated you from the loving room. You could literally be exposed. We had to rotate sequestering ourselves into the other room when we showered. The overall bathroom layout could be a deal breaker for many. We made it work because we were with our kids, but it was definitely not ideal. Also it was lacking pillows.

After a friendly welcome in which we received an extensive set of recommendations and explanations as to the layout of Bruges, we were shown to our room which - for the price - was beautiful. Very well presented, canal view, with a very comfortable bed - and a fireplace! The bathroom was clean and spacious. The location for us was perfect. A short walk to all the main attractions, but quiet enough to enjoy an unencumbered night sleep. We did not opt for the breakfast so could not comment on that.

Completely a personal preference, but the shower pressure was a little weak for us. I'm sure this is not an issue for many people.

We loved the location in the Old Town along the canal and its proximity to the town center. The room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. Our room overlooked the canal. There is a beautiful private garden if you want some seclusion. The hosts could not have been more welcoming or helpful providing maps, guide books and a detailed explanation of the town and sites. The breakfast was quite substantial with plenty of selection of fresh meat, cheese, fruit and pastries etc accompanied by bacon and eggs cooked to your liking! No need for lunch.

Beautiful place, comfy bed, very clean and had everything we needed for facilities. The decor was just to our liking; traditional yet stylish, but minimal, and accurate to the photos we saw before booking. Bath and shower were both good too, good water pressure and heat responsiveness. Welcoming, warm and helpful host. The location was great too, not far to walk to the centre (10min and very pleasant walk in!) , but far enough to be in a beautiful and quiet, quaint area. We would recommend and definitely stay again if visiting.

Maybe more shower gel and toilet roll in the room for guests who are staying longer, but overall it was all brilliant.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible B&B in the heart go Bruges, and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how welcoming and attentive the staff were. They went above and beyond to provide helpful information about the city, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was spacious, beautiful decorated and offered a stunning view of the canal- the perfect setting for peaceful and relaxing stay. The breakfast area was equally charming, with tasteful decor that set the tone for delightful morning. The selection of food was delicious. What really stood out was the generous hospitality. They offered complimentary water, hot drinks and even alcohol. This hotel is truly a gem!!

We loved everything. Lieve is an excellent host who literally ‘opens her home’ to guests: the care and attention during check-in, the drinks available at any time, the generous breakfast, thoughtfully prepared with every detail to please everyone. Fresh juice, all kinds of coffee, various types of cheeses and cold cuts, plenty of jams, pastries… simply perfect! The facilities are beautiful, very well decorated and comfortable, with a wonderful garden! The room facing the canal was spectacular, quiet, with a gas fireplace, very comfortable, a huge bed, very clean and soft sheets, and an impeccable bathroom. A 11 out of 10! We loved it so much that we almost extended our stay for one more day! We will be back!

Sometimes we would smell a cigarette odor in the common areas. Nothing that bothered us, the room was very fragrant and comfortable!”
