Great location, took 10mins to walk to the Belfort and you passed the Chocostory museum on the way. Hotel was clean and airy. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a double room with a sofa bed for our 6yr old. Plenty of room for us all. Bath/shower was decent and clean. Breakfast was lovely, well presented and food was very good. The hotel offers free bikes. The hotel was great accommodating our 6yr old. They also provided a great map with good restaurant recommendations on it. If you fancy Italian go to Amuni, but book, they get busy!

Nothing we didn't like. Will happily book again for future trips.

The property is well located from city centre and all is doable within walking distance. The hotel also offers free bicycles which is a plus, since the city is flat and safe to ride. The room was spacious with a walking shower and high ceilings. Housekeeping attended everyday to clean and organise the room. We had breakfast included in our booking and even though there were times only our room had breakfast in the hotel, they would still put out a spread and offer to cook us hot food. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We certainly enjoyed our stay and the hotel is very cozy.

Only small details. Our room was a double bed booking, but they placed two singles next to each other. This was uncomfortable at times as the beds would separate during the night. There’s no mini fridge in the room, however, the owner/manager was kind enough to offer an alternative. No fault of the hotel, but in one night, there were loud guests which we could hear walking above us late at night, and another night, guests triggered the fire alarm by smoking (in not smoking rooms).

This hotel is just as charming as Brugge itself — it’s like a little dollhouse. It has everything you need, the breakfast is really tasty, and the staff are super friendly. The location couldn’t be better — it’s just a 5 to 10-minute walk from all the main sights. And the walk is lovely too, because Brugge is absolutely beautiful. * On the right side of the hotel entrance, there’s a small wooden bench where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful views of the canal. It’s the perfect spot to watch the sunset :)

nothing! :)

Charming hotel - warm, cosy vibe with excellent location and very helpful reception. Suggested places for eating and shopping and experiences and booked things. Some really nice extras like bikes that can be borrowed. Just really felt like home. Felt very welcome and looked after.

It was a minor thing but towels were taken away and not replaced entirely. So we ended up without hand towels and only one face towel. Bathroom also not well ventilated - mirrors stayed steamed up for long time and sky window dripped - and cleaner didn’t address things like that. No fridge in room.

I was looking for something affordable with a unique local feel, in a good location. Adornes hotel was extremely accomodative, the owner very thoughtful and kind, rooms are very clean and have everything you need for the very competitive price you pay. Beds are soft. There's a quirky honesty bar in the cellar, and a large number of bikes free for hotel visitors to use. We slept through breakfast both mornings of our stay, but noted the plate with leftover free pastry with "NO FOOD WASTE" on it at reception after - which is a very nice touch.

The hotel was exactly as I expected, character, welcoming, fabulous location within Bruges and we had a riverside view. Also there was an “honesty” bar and lovely courtyard plus free bike hire. (Nice additions) - There was secure parking for vehicles aswell just round the corner.

Slightly noisy fan in the room ! As it was a very warm humid weekend.

It is such a wonderful "inn" we could happily have stayed in the hotel if the weather was not good. And that was our backup plan. The location could not be better. A very quick walk to Makt and Berg and easy access to the real Brugge on the outer rings. We had the attic room with some stunning views over the canal as the sun set. The number 2 bus was an easy way to get to and from the station. Giles is a terrific host. Very accommodating, full of great advice on where to eat non-tourist food.

We had to look around for places to plug in and charge our devices. An extension cord might be useful.

A small friendly hotel within walking distance of everything in old city Bruges. A lovely breakfast, cheaper than anything you’ll find on the main street. The building is very old and the rooms are small and old. Bathroom however was large and modern, beds were comfortable, the place was clean. There’s even an elevator. The manager is on-site, friendly, helpful and responsive to requests.

Not the hotel’s fault, but this is a party town with loud drunken revellers in the streets all night long. If anything, it is just across the canal and ever so slightly removed from the noise. It would be so much worse closer to the main street.

There is a bewildering choice of accommodation in Bruges: if you're poring over reviews trying to choose - this is an excellent choice! The hotel is in a great location, it's on a canal less than ten minutes' stroll from the centre, so much quieter but still just as historically picturesque. Our rooms were beautiful, with beams reaching up into the gables and a view of the canal. I think we were kindly upgraded as the season hadn't yet really got going. The hotel manager was extremely friendly and helpful - he booked us taxis, arranged a late check-in and let us store our bags on our last day. The hotel has a calm and quirky atmosphere and we would definitely stay again. Breakfast was lovely - lots of choice. We only had it once because we were making quick exits most mornings and it's something you'd want to take your time over.

The price of a view of the canal is occasional traffic noise, but even as a poor sleeper I would definitely go for a canalside room again in this quiet location - the view is glorious. You get to see a procession of horse drawn carts driving into the centre every morning...

WOW, this was one of my favourite lodgings while touring parts of Europe. Bruges has a special charm, but this hotel along the canal couldn’t have welcomed us better to Belgium. We had a canal view room, great size room lots of space for bags and getting organized, huge bathroom and bathtub which was so appreciated. The breakfast was PHENOMENAL! Outside of the busy central area however within a short walking distance so it was seriously perfect. I will recommend this location to anyone I know thinking of visiting Bruges. Thank you Adornes hotel!

The parking was a bit tricky to find but when we found it the walk back was very fast and easy.
