Large spacious room with good heating system when it was cold and also had a room safe. Slightly away from the crowds in the centre,so it suited us, but close enough to be able to see the sights. Good WiFi and plenty of choice for breakfast. We were offered the environmentally friendly option of not having the room serviced every day which gave us a free drink each day - nice after a day out and about. We had booked this at the last minute following a problem at another property (host broke shoulder) and it was Easter, so paid double what we had already booked, but it was still worth.

The safe lock was getting loose inside the safe door, with a risk of it falling into the sealed door, so I reported it to reception. The shower is fine in terms of temperature and pressure, but the shower screen is too small so water sprays everywhere if you are not careful. You have to face the shower head into the corner to reduce the amount of overspray, but the shower head may then rotate under pressure and spray across the bathroom. We had to have minimal showers to avoid making maximum spillage . . .

Bed was big and comfortable

Breakfast was disappointing, no lights on in the hallway during the night couldn't see had to take our phones out to light the way was strange. Very erry place very rarely met anyone else and the place was fully booked

Check in was easy and fast, room was warm ,comfortable and spacious, bathroom shower /bath lovely .Tea/coffee in room lovely .Bedding and bed excellent. At Breakfast there was a good choice , Lovely hotel just a little way out from the centre of Bruges ,easily walked by the canal. Love that breakfast goes on till late morning .

On this occasion the hot choices of food were not heated through enough ,would have liked an earlier start to breakfast but I didn’t ask if they do any breakfast to go so maybe my mistake , I would happily book this hotel again as on the whole a very comfortable stay.

The staff were wonderful yet very professional & helpful. The fantastic garden & bar area. The nearby bus to the centre & railway station. The very comfortable bed & the closeness to the oldest bar in Bruges.

While the bar area was delightful, the rooms were in need of a 'pick me up'. Everything one would need was in the large bed room but it was tired looking. Likewise the hall carpet was passed its best & should be replaced. None of that really mattered but the food in the bar was disgusting. I would think that one home cooked dish would be preferable than the long mass produced menu which presently exists.

The location was excellent for the Winter Gloed lights trail and markets. It's an impressive building and the reception team were very helpful. Breakfast was good and happy hour got our evening started nicely. The room 223 was spacious and comfortable, and I loved the big bath. Good water pressure and very clean. We were able to use the hotel parking which was easy to use.

The barman who served us on Wednesday 11/12/24 at 5pm-ish was very rude. My friend and I were both spoken to in an abrupt way by him, no smile or warmth, then he completely ignored her and served a couple who came in after we had been waiting at the bar. I was asked "Yes...what do you want" with a look of impatience and annoyance that I had asked for a drink. Friendlier bar staff would be a great addition to a lovely hotel!

the hotel is about 15mins walk to the main square. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the room was clean and very spacious. the staff were polite and friendly. the buffet breakfast was well stocked with plenty of choice. The food was very good at the bar and Francis the barman was great and has a good sense of humour. if I return to Bruges I will stay there again and I will recommend it to anyone who is travelling to the city.

I can't think of anything negative to say about the hotel.

Firstly Liam sorted out our booking to accommodate our late date change and added on extra night , Thank you Liam . Hotel for us is perfectly situated near enough to the centre of Brugge but far enough away to be fairly quiet . Opposite a supermarket and nearby public car parking ,but the hotel has a great garage which is chargeable. Room was wonderful bed, bathroom bedding all excellent, perfect to have a kettle in the room as well ,clean and Nicely looked after, the air conditioning was the best we’d had on the whole trip ,fabulous ,not too noisy and the coolness helped us sleep after a few very hot days and muggy nights. Breakfast is still very good with a great choice of hot and cold items ,their baked goods selection is always my favourite ,staff always willing to help and they have a good choice of milks . A lovely hotel with helpful and friendly staff .

Relatively large room, comfortable beds, adequate bathroom, large screen TV set. Antique and cute radio set (we did not use it) and a landline telephone (rarity nowadays). Very good breakfast with large variety of food, several types of coffee and juices and even white wine ad libitum. Absolutely fantastic location with a short walking distance to the old town and all typical tourist attractions. Big plus - hotel's own underground garage.

High parking fee - well it is my opinion. Nothing else to complain about.

Location was great .. only short pleasant walk to centre. View from room was fabulous overlooking canal and pretty bridge. Nice size room. Shower screen/partition was bit too small though. You had to be careful water didn't go over the bath onto the floor.

See above re shower. Also more fruit in breakfast buffet. We brought our own bananas in as fruit salad was a bit limited.

The room was very spacious with writing desk and easy chairs. The shower had plenty of pressure and all the amenities in the rom were great. The breakfast included everything from cooked to Continental and plenty of fruit. Only 10 mins walk to the central square with plenty of restaurants on the way. Good air conditioning in the room, Will come back again.

The staff in the breakfast room could have been happier.
