Lovely stay at the Hotel Jacobs, 10 min walk away from centre. The room was very clean, just the right size. The customer service was very good, the young lady was very polite and friendly. We were able to leave the luggage after check-out and were actually offered to store the luggage before the check-out, but once arrived to Brugues at about 12-1, the room was already ready, so we settle to room straightaway.the breakfast was very delicious with lots of choices. I love local bread, delicious. The Bruges is such a clean and beautiful! Stay highly recommended.

The hotel had a lovely breakfast with variety, was just close enough to walk into the center but far enough to be in a quiet section of the city, and the staff at reception was kind and gave great insight on things to do and places to eat. The rooms were small but the beds were comfortable. There is also an elevator for those who may need.

There is no AC in the rooms, however, there are ceiling fans. I recommend a guide or directions for how to set up the ceiling fans with the app. We weren’t able to connect to one of the fans and would imagine that the technological aspect might be difficult for guests that are not as tech savvy. The weather was comfortable enough, however, I would imagine it could be problematic with summer heat.

We were very impressed by Hotel Jacobs. We stayed here last week for a last-minute night away for half term. I like the location. In the old town, but just outside the main centre, it is a very pleasant, 5-7 minute walk through a lovely, quieter area. That makes it VERY easy to drive to and park up outside the hotel to off-load or collect luggage. The desk staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. They were more than happy to go out of their way to help in whatever way, make recommendations for places to see and bars and restaurants to visit, etc., and recommend a (free) car park at Boogschutterslaan. We had booked a quadruple room, and I have to say it is one of the nicest family rooms we have stayed in, anywhere. The room was made up of two interconnected rooms, both of which were of a very good size: perfect for getting the girls to bed in one while we have a beer-nightcap from the perfect little bar downstairs, in the other. It is definitely worth paying a little extra to get the much bigger room. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was huge with a lovely walk-in shower. Everything was spotless. We arrived early, but the desk manager was happy for us to book in then, and while the room was not quite ready at that point (he did check), we had a message not too long later to say we could get our room at any point from then. Meanwhile, they were more than happy to let us leave our bags in their storage room, as well as on the second day when we left. Breakfast was superb, with a fantastic range of fresh bread, fruit, pastries, and all the usual cereals, etc., as well as perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and back bacon. We had a lovely stay and our only issue (regret) is that we didn’t book at least another night. Until the next time, as we will be back....

We had a clean, quiet and cozy place.. The room was relatively small yet we had everything we needed.. The staff was friendly and showed us the must-see locations, recommended places to eat etc. It's 10min away by walking from the historic site, such as Belfry.. Within 3 min walking, you can reach to the bus stop for number 2, which comes/goes to the Bruges Train Station.. I'd like to add a note for early arrivers, the rooms are mostly available around 3, check-in time is 4pm, you can use the luggage room if you arrive early, luckily Jacobs was the only place that prepared my room before my arrival during my stay in Belgium, including the other hotels in Brussels and Gent.. So a biiiiiig, huuuuuge thanks to the staff once again..

The drain in the shower wasn't enough for the water pressure, other than that everything was very nice..

The staff at the reception was very friendly. The room was nice and the view was great! The location was awesome.

The breakfast staff was very weird. The man and a women were continuously talking very loud to each other-not what you expect when you want to eat a calm weekend breakfast. The guy also was very grumpy and it felt like we as guests are bothering him. In general it didn't feel relaxing during breakfast. I feel that a bit of hospitality training would help.

Great location, in a peaceful historic part of town only 10 minute walk into the centre. Very good breakfast selection served across a generous window 8-10. Lovely spacious room and very comfortable bed. We paid a bit more for a superior room. Friendly staff. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out to spend our final day in Bruges.

We didn’t much like the paper cups provided for tea/coffee in the room and would have preferred proper cups. Also milk portions instead of powdered creamer sachets, but only a minor negative. When making the booking we we were told we couldn’t check in late as nobody on reception up to 10pm. We subsequently changed our Eurostar booking to an earlier train to avoid any problem. However during our stay there was always somebody on reception during those hours so that messaging was a little confusing!

Staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was nice.Hotel is near sight seeings. You can come to hotel from train station using city buses from front of it.It costs 3 € one way.Only credit cards are accepted in city buses.

We stayed in different rooms during 3 days.one of them had no chairs to sit.we asked but room mates didnot bring any. There are many mosqoitos in city and in hotel,so take repellents with you.some rooms are small.

Great location. Not far from the bus stop if you are coming from the train station. Great space for our family of 5 (it’s hard to find a hotel room for 5 so we were happy to find this). Bedroom was clean but a bit outdated. Our reservation included breakfast which was convenient. Nice that there is an elevator too. Friendly staff!

Sadly we kept smelling cigarette smoke all night. Not sure if it was coming in from outside or what (may just have been our room or us as we are sensitive to it).

Convenient, quiet location. Lovely historic building and easy to walk to centre. Wide range of options for breakfast. Reception staff were very helpful.

Wish there was crockery instead of paper cups in rooms, hot drinks a little tricky. We were a party of 6 and would have been nice to have tables joined together at breakfast, biggest tables were for x4, we asked and it could have been easily accommodated, but was refused!

Friendly and helpful staff who recommended some great areas of the town. Breakfast was nice with enough selection and lovely fresh bread. Room was good size (we had the family room so 2 adjoining rooms with shared bathroom). It was about 10 mins walk to main square & situated in a quiet residential area.

Could sometimes hear other guests up & downstairs but not really an issue.
