We booked the apartment with 2 people. It was very spacious (I think you can book it for 6 people) so we both had our own bedroom with double bed and bathroom. Very luxurious! In addition to these 2 rooms, there is another bed downstairs in the living room. The location is great, not too busy but still close to the center and near a bus stop. The host is also very friendly and open. We felt welcome right away! You can also go downstairs to the common area of ​​the B&B with a cozy little terrace outside. We were very happy with our stay and we definitely recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Maison Amodio! Although the host wasn’t there in person at first, he provided us with clear instructions via WhatsApp, making everything seamless and stress-free. He also shared the location of a private parking spot just a 3-minute walk from the B&B, which was incredibly convenient. As we were visiting Bruges for our engagement trip, I requested flowers on the bed, and the host arranged a truly beautiful bouquet that my fiancée absolutely loved. The entire place was immaculately clean, warm, and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. When we met the host in person he was attentive, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. I strongly recommend you try the delicious breakfast, which we enjoyed while overlooking the lovely garden. The location is fantastic - everything in Bruges is within walking distance. We would absolutely love to return!

Nothing really!

A very well put together B&B in a beautifully restored old building. The accomodation exceeded expectations in atmosphere, spaciousness and cleanliness and is just minutes from the city center but without the crowds. Staff is particularly friendly. They made us feel at home from the start and you can tell that they have plenty of hospitality experience. They were even able to help out with organising a romantic gesture for my partner that I came up with last-minute. Would wholeheartedly recommend going and we're even considering going here again (which we usually never do).

The bed in our room had 2 single mattresses rather than 1 big one. This is the only minor dislike I can think of. Rooms are 10/10

The decor was beautiful and the communal area felt very cosy. The room was spacious and clean. It is located close to the centre of Bruges but in a very quiet neighbourhood which was nice. We opted for the breakfast on our last day and we were very glad we did. Beautiful pastries, breads, meats, cheeses and fruit, along with good coffee and fresh orange juice. The host was welcoming and helpful. We would 100% recommend a stay here!

The only thing to note was that our room was on the second floor and we had to access it via quite a steep staircase. Whilst this was not an issue for us, others with some mobility issues may want to be mindful.

We travel often and Madison Amado is now on my all time favorite places to stay list! The decor and atmosphere was so relaxing and charming. Christmas decor was beautiful and added to the Bruges Christmas charm. We had breakfast one morning and the presentation was beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious! Our room was cozy and very clean. There was even a small Christmas tree in our room. 🎄 The host was so friendly and helpful. He even helped us with an issue we had with our rental car. Just a perfect stay!!

There were a lot of stairs to our room. We handled it fine, but make sure that you don't have an upper room if that is a problem for you.

Joeri was our host. His communication was excellent throughout (from booking through the stay). The place is beautiful. We had the Paris room and the Knokke-Le-Zoute room. The Knokke-Le-Zoute room in particular is special. It is up in the attic so it’s not easy to get luggage up there. Joeri offered to help with our luggage and provided excellent service throughout. Breakfast is available. Joeri cooks it at the requested time. It was more food than what we could eat. Pastries. Bacon and eggs. Coffee. My wife says the waffles were the best she’s ever had (including ones we had around Brugge).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Honestly, we loved everything about this place. We were well greeted on arrival with luggage and parking support and a pot of tea for which we were very grateful. We stayed in the loft room, which is exactly as the pictures, spacious, comfortable with a well-appointed dressing area, comfy bed, and lovely views across the city. We have never felt so at home in a B&B, such was the attention to detail and service. Breakfast was an absolute highlight, along with recommendations for places to visit and places to eat/drink nearby. Bruges was cold and wet whilst we were there, and we were grateful to borrow an umbrella from our hosts. The lounge space is lovely, and we were given free reign to use the fire and the sound system. The honesty bar is well stocked and a great idea.

Maison Amodio is situated in the perfect location to access all the sights in central Bruges. Once you step off the street you enter a beautifully decorated, peaceful and welcoming home from home. Broes and Joeri are the perfect hosts who have thought about every detail to make your stay fabulous from a welcoming glass of wine to a beautifully cooked and presented breakfast (small extra charge) to set you up for the day. There is a little garden oasis at the rear to relax with a drink in the evening. We just loved Maison Amodio and hope to return in the future.

Everything was perfect

Location was perfect: the bus from the train station dropped us off just a block away; Maison Amodio is just far enough away from the crowds but close enough to walk to the sights easily, especially beautiful if you follow the canal. The room had remote control blinds, a shower and separate bathtub, plenty of counter space and closet space. The home offers a kitchen, bar, multiple seating areas, and an outdoor patio that feels like you’re in paradise. Also, you enter the house and the room using codes instead of keys for modern convenience

The property is gorgeous, meticulously decorated in every detail. The photos shown by the host are true to reality. But it is even better in real life because of the comfortable lighting and music. The honesty bar is a nice touch. It felt so good to pour myself a glass of wine and then sit next to the fire place to enjoy the moment. The host is generous, warm and most importantly not intrusive. The location is excellent, quiet yet within walking distance to grocery stores and attractions.
