The location is very convinient. Walking distance to town and many choices of restaurants. Property is clean and communal kitchen at the ground floor is well equipped! Great for families too. You can fill water bottles from the kitchen tap. Omar was friendly and welcoming, he recommended areas to explore, and good restaurants, also let us keep our bags at the reception. Overall comfortable stay.

Nothing to dislike, but interior can be very slightly improved. Our room was bit tight to move freely, didnt have enough space to keep smaller items like toileteries bag, makeup etc, Only tiny bedside wall shelf. The bedside lamps can be different or smaller, we kept hitting on it while sitting in bed, same with the bedside shelf.

VERY CLEAN, modern room and bathroom. Excellent response by staff if we had questions or needed something. Staff was helpful with tips on things to see in Bruges. Nice communal kitchen for use by guests.

Really the only thing we didn’t like was the pillows, which gave both of us a stiff neck. (They had fiberfill, and were too thick for us.) The neighborhood was only okay, but realize the room would have cost way more had it been closer to the city center. It was a good value. I highly recommend staying here and would stay there again. I’d bring my own pillow though lol.

We got an upgrade to the big apartment, which was a pleasant surprise. It was very spacious, stylish and well equipped. The location is pretty perfect, close to the centre but not loud or crowded. We didn't interact a lot with the owners, but everything went really smoothly. They also offer parking spots close by (for additional cost) if you arrive by car, which takes away a potential headache.

It wasn't a problem for us, but the stairs might be difficult to climb if you have any physical issues.

Enjoyed the use of the shared kitchen to prepare our own breakfast on a couple of mornings. Also liked that we could sit downstairs on a settee in the evening to read rather than on the bed. Met both Omar and his father and they were both charming.

Our bathroom bin contained a dirty nappy when we arrived and there was only one set of towels. Both of these issues were resolved the following day and Omar offered his sincere apologies.

The staff, atmosphere and the location were all just exceptional. We felt the history and modernity at the same time. And we could walk to the city with our 3 year old girl in 10 -15 min. There are also restaurants and cafes just around the guesthouse. It was great to have a supermarkt across the road as well.

It was a bit cold for us especially the ground of the room. We stayed during November so heating might be better and there was no elevator. However, the cokd ground and climbing the stairs for only one floor were managable and did not effect the joy.

excellent location, great building and rooms, owner was fantastic and helpful. parking available which was a massive plus, small garage but was big enough to get our average sized MG HS SUV in it.

No air conditioning which meant the room did get warm with 3 of us in it. The room was on a main road, this meant you could not open the windows at night. Maybe a fan and ear plugs would have bumped it from a 9/10 to a 10/10. That was the only issue, other than that it was a faultless stay.

Amazing. La Cle was a fabulous find and we had a great stay there. We loved it. Beautifully renovated building with so much character yet modern, light and stunning design. The owner was so helpful, friendly and giving us useful recommendations of walking routes and where to eat in Bruges Great location and was in easy walking distance to everything in Bruges. This was one of the nicest places we have stayed in. Would highly recommend.

The room and house were beautiful, very well decorated and comfortable. The host was great, very friendly and gave us several tips of what to see in the city. It's a lovely place.

It's hard to find something to dislike. But as a minor issue, the room was a bit cold to our liking. It took a while to warm up but it did so eventually. Honestly, this was a minor issue and people have different expectations in relation to that. I don't blame the hosts for that.

Very easy walking distance to the centre and I’m a quiet neighbourhood with local cafes and bars. All the instructions were excellent prior to our arrival and we were recommended local restaurants by Omar which were all excellent. The accommodation was extremely comfortable with everything we needed with access to a kitchen area and drinks/snacks available to purchase
