Great place to stay in Thailand for an authentic experience. The huts are comfortable, clean and well air-conditioned. Motorbikes and kayaks available to hire at the property. We loved that you had the mangroves and river on one side and the beach on the other side. The staff were all very friendly and did their very best to make our stay comfortable. One late night there was a power issue in our hut and they worked hard to fix it for us which we really appreciated. They would also allow us to use their motorbike for free when we needed to go to the nearest 7/11. The breakfast was very tasty with a great selection of authentic southern Thai food, but I would recommend getting there early when it’s hot and fresh. Added bonus that there are so many cute cats and a lovely friendly dog around. There’s some great local restaurants and places to explore to keep you busy for a good few days. Highly recommend!

These are very thoughtfully designed cabins. The bathroom was really well equipped (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion supplied). Wonderful lighting and a comfortable bed. The balconies all had an actual comfy chair to sit in and a hammock. An excellent breakfast was served daily free of charge. The cabins are small, but the outside space makes up for it.

We found dining options locally really, really limited (unless you like deep fried 'everything'). But we do appreciate that the area is not aimed at the Western tourist and the menus did reflect that. The best place we found to eat was a little restaurant on the side of the road on our return from Hat Chao Mai National Park. There was a wonderful coffee van parked outside the cottages every morning.

For us this was an exceptional stay. It’s simplicity, authenticity and uniqueness were a delight as were the owners. They couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. Never before have we stayed in a thatched hut with a wash basin outside and a hammock on the porch! Authentic Thai food was served for breakfast along with a selection of fruit and fruit juices. Breakfast is eaten at shared tables in the communal space where we met and chatted to other guests.

The owners are so so nice, they are always looking out for anything you need. Water bottles delivered every morning, great laundry service for cheap and amazing breakfast. You can even use one of their kayaks to go down the tidal river in the back of the property. Truly a paradise

Bit harsh lighting and there were ants in the hut, but it was cool watching them do stuff

I loved this accommodation. The huts are authentic and quiet and the staff is amazing. Everything you need is there, like body lotion, shampoo, a fridge, airco, nice terrace, etc. The huts are right next to to the beach and many local restaurants. The owner let us borrow her scooter which was awesome. It’s not a touristic place, more like a holiday destination for Thai people, which I liked as well. The breakfast was also very good; nice eggs and god bread with fruits, coffee en Thai fried cake. Thank you so much.

The owners meet you and greet as good family members. They helped to arrange boat tickets and parking. Breakfast is nice and the price of the room hard to realize how the owners manage it: different types of fruit and main dishes. Not all 5 star hotels can boast with such fruits variety- pineapple, mango, watermelon, banana - all fresh and super quality.

The location was excellent. This is a no frills place, but extremely cool with an authentic Thai breakfast. Hammock on the porch with a fan to keep you cool made it even more relaxing. A/C was quiet and kept us cool. I will definitely come back to this place.

Fabulous authentic hits with balcony and even a hammock with everything you could possibly need and short walk to the beach and some great beachside restaurants

Beach wasn't great, there's a big stone wall so you have to walk down a ways to the beach which is a bit dirty and shingle and broken shells

It was a sweet, cozy little cabin with a/c and hot water. And there were 26 cats!!!

June, the manager, is very nice but she speaks very little English and we speak no Thai. We had to talk to her through a translation app on her phone. Everything worked out 100% in the end, but there was a pretty big communication misunderstanding (regarding onward travel arrangements) at the beginning.

It is my second time in this hut. The hut provided all the comfort one could ask for. Also, the warmth and hospitality of the staff added an extra layer of delight to my stay. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine smiles and a genuine eagerness to ensure my comfort. I will go back for sure.
