Reception was so quick to help with our every request & query. Plus all the staff were so so 'friendly & polite' The staff were so communicative between shifts. Unknown to us, a misunderstanding at dinner left a waitress thinking I was Gluten intolerant, when we went to breakfast the next morning, I was approached by a member of staff explaining all of their Gluten free dishes and offering to supply 'off menu' dishes if needed. It turned out that all waiting staff & chefs had been notified as they came on duty. It took a minute to clarify that I'd no issue with Gluten, then he both apologised for 'the mistake', said he'd let everyone know so I'd not be interrupted again and apologised for disrupting my breakfast...

This is a lovely resort, the rooms are well maintained, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service was good. The hotel style rooms are good, but the villas are very nice - highly recommend upgrading to one of these if you can. The hotel has it's own beach access and a pool overlooking the beach.

Sadly, our experience at this resort was dampened by the food - the restaurant was at best average, to the point where we stopped eating there. The location is also quite far out of town - about 15 minutes by car or an hour's walk. The resort does offer a car into town and back, but there is a charge for this.

Staff very friendly,welcoming and friendly,very clean,private villas were very private, great massages,located in a beautiful setting on its own peice of beach that is regularly swept and cleaned,not walking distance to Lovina though staff very happy to organize transport which is also not very exspensive.

It would be great if mosquito coils or even a mosquito coil holder could be provided. Breakfast can get a little hectic, though staff in restaurant very attentive and friendly.

Brand new resort. Rooms nice and modern and well equipped . We did have a bit of an ant problem but wasn’t their fault. The pool is amazing with an incredible view. We came for the dolphins and our guide picked us up at the beach it was perfect. We actually didn’t leave the resort as we had the pool to ourselves all day. The food is also good. The staff were amazing. Great with the kids. Shoutout to the barman who gave them extra cookies. The breakfast was a little basic but good for the price. The whole place is very clean. We didn’t stay in a villa but we passed them and they look incredible. I would recommend to book. There is some construction going on but we didn’t hear it or did it impact our stay at all. The staff also took the kids to feed the fish which they loved so much. A real gem .

Food menu was a little limited. But we did ask for special requests ( changing meat for fish ) and it was no issue for them.

Wonderfully comfortable bed, food and drinks were excellent too. Staff service was top notch! We did the Bali cooking experience which was FANTASTIC - note to any prospective bookers, don’t eat beforehand! We also went on the dolphin trip and snorkelling as arranged by the hotel, and these were both also excellent.

It wasn’t the cleanest place we’ve stayed, but enough to be comfortable. It was also quite difficult to go anywhere other than the hotel grounds as so pedestrian access outside, but the food and drinks were good enough that it didn’t cause an issue

What an amazing stay. I am sure this is the best place you can stay in Bali. The staff was so friendly. Dinner with a sea view and live music every day and an own private Villa with Pool, which was so beautiful. There is really nothing to improve. Wifi was also great. it is very silent so you can just chill and relax. Thank you very much for everything, we will come back for sure!

We loved our stay at Villandra. We upgraded to an ocean view villa which was very comfortable with a great lounge area next to the pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful and were always willing to organise whatever we needed. A little far from the main area but the shuttle and pick up services were great. Beautiful location. Perfect place to enjoy a cocktail on the beach. Just down the beach is a little group of houses and an excellent Warung if you want a change. We would definitely come back.

Nothing major but there were no toiletries in the bathrooms. It would have been nice to have some soap or shower gel. We had to ask for glasses for the downstairs lounge area and for pool towels. There wasnt a problem getting them but they should have been there already. More scheduled shuttles in to Lovina would have been nice but the staff were always happy to take us and pick us up at a reasonable price.

The pool villa was great, the room service excellent. The restaurant and bar is located at the beach. The latter is perfectly clean (in contrast to previous comments). Drinks from the bar and food from the restaurant are very good.

The breakfast is not even 2-star standard in Germany (sirup-based juices, no bread besides toast, no selection of salad, …). The gym consists of 4-5 cardio machines and dumpbells up to only 10kg.

We stayed in two suites for one night, and the suites have all been recently renovated. They were clean and featured a large, comfortable bed. Many storage spaces. The bathroom is spacious, with a double sink ans separate toilet. The staff is young and friendly.

One area for improvement is the breakfast. Furthermore, the hotel is frequented by Chinese tourist groups who are sometimes disrespectful towards places and people.

We stayed in a Suite which was spacious and beautiful. Nice hotel directly on the beach of Lovina, nice Bar & Restaurant with Live Music. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the Restaurant Manager.

Upon Check-In the room was not properly cleaned so we had to ask for additional cleaning which was then well done. Unfortunately no beach beds on the beach only 6 beanbags. Breakfast could be improved…
