The breakfast was excellent. All the staff at the Smile Hotel Sasebo was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was a nice treat. Thank you to the front desk for allowing me to use the iron and ironing board. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to visit Sasebo. Thank you making my stay a memorable one. I would like to become a member of your hotel rewards program.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect for us. There is a washer and dryer to do your laundry, and the washer has the laundry detergent automatically fed into it. It's an inexpensive room in a convenient location with great staff.

The rooms are small, but exactly as pictured, so you know what you are getting. We were still able to manage 3 large suitcases and a couple carry-ons with some careful arrangements. In future I may have gotten 2 rooms for my daughter and I instead of sharing.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming to me. I had a package that I was awaiting to be delivered and they did what they could to chase it down before I left. The location in the town was good but still a decent walk if you’re going to the train or bus station. The room was perfect and comfortable for a solo traveller. Would love to stay here again.

I like how everything is straightforward, simple, and clean.

My very first day at my first room, the room smelled like someone recently smoked in there, when it’s supposed to be a non-smoking room. But other than that, everything else was super great.

The laundry was a great option, but it was on my floor which caused increased foot traffic and the hallway was hot.

The hotel location was good it's near the shopping district in Sasebo City. Which you can find a lot of stuff. Room is clean and nice but a little old and comfortable to stay.

I just didn't like that towels given were only one set, though I know it is a single room occupancy.

Close to the Navy base and the walking mall.

Free bicycle parking in the garage across the street. Garage is locked overnight and opens at 0530. I have stayed before and mostly come for the privacy and the quiet
