The staff were fabulous. Myra was very friendly and helpful. She and her partner took great care of us during our stay. The room was comfortable and, having only a small number of rooms, meant it was lovely and quiet. Perfect for a good night's rest! The weather wasn't great while we were there, but the pool would have been very inviting on a warm day!

No negatives. We enjoyed the b&b experience (met some lovely people). Those who prefer not to mingle can have breakfast in their room :)

a Chinese restaurant was recommended for dinner but we couldn't find it and ended up with a take-away pizza for dinner which was all the seemed to be available. At breakfast time the housekeeping staff arrived and started to go about their work, preparing equipment and laundry while we were eating. A lot was made of the fruit platter for breakfast but it was very disappointing.

Best accommodation we have found in a long time. Warm welcome from owners, fabulous afternoon tea with daily home baked muffins, wide array of teas and coffee. Breakfast is included and surpassed all expectations with freshly made fruit plate, yogurt, selection of cereals and granolas and fresh bread/toast varieties from local bakery. Lovely dining room, relax area, bookshelf and music in the common area plus outdoor dining area and bbq facilities, laundry etc. Our room was very nice with Sheridan linens, towels and bathrobes, a comfy king bed with king pillows, in-room wide variety of herbal and black teas, chocolates, fridge etc. We also enjoyed the bath. Owners could not be more helpful or friendly!

Location in a back street, not a big deal but I would try for a waterfront location closer to cafes etc next time. Bedroom and bathroom all in one in our room - I would prefer separate (I did wonder if the separating wall was removed at one stage, to make it feel more spacious perhaps, but I thought it odd that the shower and basin were open to the bedroom area.

Husband and I stayed two nights with our adult daughter in the two bed apartment which is upstairs. Comfy bedrooms, lounge with big sofa, kitchen with indoor and outdoor seating options. The balcony patio is huge and a fantastic space - big dining table and BBQ, we loved having dinner outside - the whole space is netted so no flies!!!! The owner is a lovely lady working hard - she’s serving breakfast in the downstairs lounge/ common area every morning! Good Wi-Fi.

Sha was what I would like to see more of in Hospitality, She was friendly and went out of her way for her guests, cutting up a fruit bowl for each guest every morning, I am not a big fruit eater but it looked so good, the rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. I liked that they have a lounge room and the pool looked nice, will try it out on our next visit.

The main thing that had me worried was the rear carpark, it seems to be collapsing, it is sinking near drains. I know Sha is very busy so breakfast time is only 1 hour.

Personal touches by host to clients and accomodation. Host Sha made you very welcome, supplying awesome breakfast and afternoon tea, treating you like family. Apartment was very spacious and had great decor/ furnishings. Located close to town, good views, access to pool. Great private patio and balcony. Private entrance and allocated personal parking spot.

Weather...

The hosts (Sha and her husband) were so welcoming on our arrival, explained in detail all the facilities available to us, where to shop and all the local sights of interest - including where to spot the kangaroos and emu. They couldn't be more helpful if they tried, nothing is ever too much trouble. The accommodation was spotless, bottled water supplied daily, continental breakfast superb. Whilst we were here the temperature was averaging 43 degrees so when we went to the National Park for 6am,our breakfast was placed in the fridge for our return. BBQ available to use, which we did twice. Beautiful patio and pool area. Would highly recommend and if we lived closer we would definitely return. Jane and Steve, Barrow in Furness, Cumbria, UK.

An excellent choice for a stay in Kalbarri... the design, layout and quality of everything in the room was top notch. The bed linen was high thread count cotton (very cool and comfortable) and the layout of the room, with spa bath and vanity sink etc was great. Separate toilet and shower. Sha and her husband are doing a great job running the place and nothing was too much trouble... the fruit salad for breakfast was superb and along with cereals, toast, etc was more than enough. The small plunge pool was also good for a bit of sunbathing (pool and beach towels provided) and a cooling dip after a days sightseeing. We stayed 6 nights and had time to do everything we wanted to do and see... a short stay (e.g. overnight) would not be enough to enjoy all this lovely town and Namburg National Park has to offer. A really excellent stay...

There was nothing that we didnt like...

This lodge is ideal for couples who just want time out without the kids, it only contains 5 apartments and the hosts are extremely lovely and helpful. Sha and her family treated each guest as they were part of the family, she even makes her own breads and cakes and you can help your self to morning or afternoon tea free of charge. Great location to the beach and town centre just a 5 min walk either way. They also offer the use of bicycles, canoes & scuba gear.

Nothing to complain about here, wish I could have stayed longer. Definately be back, just check when you go that all the tourist attractions are open for business.
