The room, bed, and pillows were comfortable, providing a good night's rest. Staff members were professional and friendly with an easy checking in process and all the information that was required for a stay in their resort and very accommodating. We were allowed to use the parking area after check-out whilst we attended an early morning tour which we really appreciated. The property is located near cafes, restaurants, a supermarket, the pelicans on the beach, and several coastline viewing points, all within walking distance. Kangeroos visit the property which we really appreciated seeing.

The property shows some signs of wear in certain areas but is popular with visiting guests and we enjoyed our stay. It would be good if the toilet seats were replaced.

The rooms were big enough for a family with kids. Washing machine available and iron if you needed it. Bathroom was decent and had basic needs in the kitchen. Couch was comfy too. Best part of it was the view outside our room - overlooking the street where we could see the kangaroos and emus take a walk during the day. Short stroll to the foreshore, restaurants and thirsty camel! Buddha bites looked amazing but didn't get a chance to try it out, maybe on our next visit!

Some cutlery was missing but I guess if guests moved it to other rooms they'd be missing, no biggie.

We stayed at the Palm Resort for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed, which made our stay even more comfortable than expected. It was perfect for our family, and we’d definitely choose to stay here again if we visit Kalbarri in the future. We also appreciated the convenient parking right in front of the unit and the peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere. The location was great too, just a short walk to the beach. No downsides to mention — everything was excellent!

Clean, tidy, double-storey unit worked well for our family of four. Neat kitchen with everything we needed, including a coffee pod machine and some pods too. We stayed for 4 nights and the unit was serviced once while we were there, which was nice. Conveniently located, easy to get to all places on foot or by car. Covered car bay was nice as well. Airconditioned living area and one bedroom (main bedroom has a ceiling fan) was handy. We also enjoyed the downstairs outdoor area and upstairs balcony.

Swimming pool was cold, was hoping it may have been heated so more people could use it (It was 27 to 28 degrees while we were there). Price was a little higher as it was during school holidays. Otherwise it worked really well for us.

hotel grounds were nicely kept and had 2 pools and local kangaroos on the property, however at least 1 of the bench seats at a picnic table had rusted so severely that the seat nearly collapsed and could have caused serious injury. Rooms were a good size and airconditioning worked well. No traffice noise.

Room had around 3 spiders webs which i had to specifically ask to be removed. Cleaners only changed the towels and casually put the blankets on the bed and emptied bins, No daily cleaning of bathroom. The coach was quite old and stained so we did not sit on it. The location of the single bed is against a wall with no bedside table. There is an above head triangle shelf located just above your pillow so you need to be careful not to bang your head. The room view was of the next door hotel room which was only 4 meters away.

Lots of facilities to use and enjoy. Walking distance to town. Requests for fresh linen, cleaning were promptly addressed. We were very happy with our spacious modern unit. It was entertaining to watch all of the kangaroos. Evening meals are available on site. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks there.

A sofa would have been nice to watch the tv,but the layout of the room makes this difficult.

Using the barbecue area while kangoroos were hanging around was great. We had a large room with a good bed on the first floor with a little balcony to the back. The small kitchen corner at the entrance had everything we needed. Good mosquito protection at the windows. At night we could hear the sea. Friendly and relaxed staff. Air conditioning a bit old and loud but worked well.

The floor in the room was carpet, but it was new and very clean. The room was quite dark, but it was ok as we spent the days outside.

It was upstairs, so we had to carry all our belongings up an outdoor staircase. The entry door had been broken and fixed back together, which made us wonder about the security of the area. Unreliable onsite restaurant (Buddha Bites), hardly ever open and despite making a booking, when we arrived for dinner it was closed and they hadn’t let us know. Perhaps the resort shouldn’t be recommending this restaurant to its visitors.

Staff are welcoming and grounds are well-kept. There is a fenced pool area and even a spa which was wonderful after a hike, even if it is old and a bit grubby looking. Some emus and kangaroos with joeys were wandering around when I was there which the overseas tourists (and me) loved. The rooms have a full sized fridge, not just a bar fridge.

The old units are very faded and tired looking, with mould and rust evident in the bathroom. Having said that, they were clean and I'd stay again because, as a solo traveller, it was a reasonable price.

Very good sized room with a kitchenette, which was a bonus. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was very nice compared to other places. The other thing which we appreciated was the table and chairs to sit down to at your meal. This is very lacking in many other places. Kangaroos outside our door on the grased area morning and late afternoon was also nice as was the bbq area. Would definetly come back again as it was by far the best place we stayed at during our 10 day trip up North.

Hard to fault Palm Resort as it ticked all the boxes. Perhaps a larger tv would be good.
