Very spacious and a great location. Beds were comfortable and all rooms had split system reverse cycle wall ac units, plus one in the lounge. The kitchen was clean and provided all the essentials. The lounge was roomy and comfy with good size TV to be able to relax and let the kids enjoy a movie. We had a cute little courtyard, unfortunately the weather wasn't in our favour to make the most of it. The bathroom had ample bench space with cupboards and a washing machine. Also provided a hair dryer and a small amount of washing powder. The shower was great size, however the only downfall was the water pressure was lacking and took a while to warm up. A wonderful extra was a fold out airer store in the wardrobe to hang clothes on inside. We were lucky to have a carport attached to our apartment on the bottom floor with a small washing line underneath. Checkin was easy and the host was very friendly and welcoming. They provide all linen and towels for the rooms plus an added extra beach towels could be requested from the reception for pool use. Also out side of reception was a lovely little bookcase filled with books to borrow during your stay. Walking distance to beach, cafes, playground and pub/restaurant. Would definately return for a stay in Kalbarri. Great value for money.

The second apartment I booked was upstairs and there was no carport. Just bay parking near reception. There was only 2 small packets of dishwashing liquid which didn't go very far, would be great if a small bottle of proper dishwashing liquid was provided and maybe a spray and wipe cleaning spray to wipe down benches. The water pressure wasn't the best and the shower head was very small. Overall quite minor things.

The location was great....just across the road from the beach, playground and shops/pubs. The view was not particularly great from our apartment but we were on the bottom floor and not overlooking the ocean. Didn't bother us as you just had to walk outside for all the best views of beautiful Kalbarri! The apartment was clean, tidy and comfy. Outside the apartment the entire complex was excellent. The swimming pool was exceptionally clean. Everything extremely neat and tidy. The managers were very friendly and accommodating.

There were some planned maintenance earth works carried out in the carpark close to our apartment. We were not informed about this prior to arriving and were a little concerned about the possible noise and disruption. Our concerns were quickly alleviated when we saw how considerate and professional the tradies were as they went about the job. The work had little to no impact on our stay.

Excellent location in the center of Kalbarri town and across the road from the best swimming beach. We were grateful to have an ocean view room, highly recommend! Units are in good and clean condition. Some units renovated/re-decorated more recently as the ones we saw among a group of friends were all different. Windows could do with a second layer of sheer blinds/curtains so we can open the sunblock curtains and still have privacy. We would also like to see bed soft/firm rating per room so we can choose which room suits us best. Our room had a soft bed which worked fine though we do prefer firmer beds. Managers would probably be able to advice during booking if booked directly! Outdoors just outside of pool area was being renovated during our stay. Our unit was right next to these works and did not impact our stay. Managers Chris and Phil were very nice and helpful. :)

It was a beautiful, comfortable apartment. It was well equiped in the kitchen with every cooking item we needed (especially large pots to cook lobsters!). Lovely pool and bbq area and staff very friendly. It was a quiet location and close to small shops, 2 minute drive to supermarket and apartments right across the road from river beaches. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Great location with view across to the river mouth. Accommodation was really nice, comfortable and clean and big.

There could have been more things supplied to make it easy - eg powder for washing machine, more dishwasher and sink washing supplies and the cooking pots were for stove top but didn’t go in the oven. No Tupperware etc. just little things but they make it much easier if supplied when traveling.

The apartment was quiet, had great views, and had a well equipped kitchen. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was central to town, restaurants and hotels etc. We really enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable apartment.

Lighting was not well considered and the unit could be checked to see if all light bulbs and controls are working before guests arrive. A small issue which was fixed immediately by the managers. Thank you for a great stay.

The apartment is fairly large and comfortable. It has two bedrooms if you book for more than two people. It has a front load washing machine which is handy. There was also a drying rack in the apartment and common drying racks outside. There is a common barbeque that was clean and with required utensils. The apartments are fairly central with easy access to most restaurants and pubs.

Our apartment was on the second floor which we didn't know. It had very limited view of the river from the balcony. No dishwasher.

Murchison View Apartments certainly exceeded all our expectations. It truly was a wonderful experience staying in our 2-bedroom apartment looking directly across the road to the river and ocean. The location and view were astounding, so close to the river, ocean, shops & walking paths. Every amenity was included exactly as described in advertising, plus more. There were so many extras like blankets, towels, everything needed in the kitchen to prepare our meals, washing machine, the list goes on. Apartment 5 on the ground floor was extremely comfortable and private, we felt like we were at a posh resort. This is excellent value for money in the beautiful seaside town of Kalbarri. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The pool was private and very clean, with barbecue facilities. We enjoyed a very relaxing rejuvenating stay here. We booked 4 nights and wished we'd booked a week. We've now booked 2 x 2-bed apartments side-by-side for a week in late 2024 so we can stay here with our son and his small children on our next visit.

The view was terrific , the location perfect. Apartment was clean and tidy and well presented. Facilities were excellent and was good to have a washing machine with a quick cycle. Perfect after a few days travelling

The position of the microwave. It is in a wooden enclosure above the sink and in a blind spot. My wife hit her head while cleaning the sink and it left a nasty bruise and lump on her forehead. It could be located on the bench as there is plenty of room. Other than that perfect.

Well placed near the water and in easy walking distance to shops and cafes. Great to sit and watch the boats with a drink from the front veranda as the sun sets.

Annoying having to buy extra toilet paper and dishwashing liquid while travelling, would be good to have a reasonable amount of these supplied.
