Date of Stay November 27th 2022 We checked in to the hotel and were upgraded by Mr Ehab the hotel manager to a suite on the third floor with a large balcony directly overlooking the entrance to the Suez Canal Stunning views from this balcony and the bedroom window of all the ships entering or leaving the canal - including the arrival of a luxury cruise ship moored directly below the hotel. Separate living room and bedroom were very comfortable and well-equipped and room service was prompt and efficient. Excellent buffet breakfast in restaurant and friendly and helpful service at reception and throughout hotel. Our only problem was that we were staying for only one night. Thanks to the management and staff for making our stay so memorable.

The location is the best in the city and the views great if you select a room with views of the canal/sea. Pleasant swimming pool. The staff were pleasant also. However most spoke very little English. The rooms were very comfortable.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Tables were not cleared of plates by staff. Omelettes were good but the coffee was awful (Nescafe)) and there was no butter.

The location of the hotel was amazing, just in the middle of the city and directly in front of the Canal where you can enjoy the view of the ships and the calm water. The breakfast was nice, has all the basic needs with continuous refill.

Furniture needed renovation and room price on booking is almost double than reserving direct with the hotel

The location is amazing and worth visiting. It is exactly located at the intersection of suez canal with the Mediterranean Sea. It is very nice to see the view of both suez canal and the sea from your room balcony. The staff are friendly and professional. They upgraded our room to suite for free and without request from our side. I recommend this hotel in Portsaid.
