Beautifully kept motel in a nice quiet location. Room was nice and clean. Great bathroom and comfy bed with electric blanket!

Our hot water didn’t work so we had to shower in another unit, which was very annoying because we had to walk to the furtherest unit away in the freezing cold. The problem was resolved but no offer of compensation or even an apology. Actually doubted I was telling the truth, saying it was working the previous week. Didn’t like the fact that none was on site to greet us and all correspondence was via text messages. Was supposed to contact us Monday afternoon regarding the issue but now Tuesday night and no reply. It was a very disappointing experience !

Best designed motel accommodation I have used. The twin beds were very comfortable. The room was really quiet - absolutely no noise from other guests or roads etc. Had microwave and bar fridge so you could store your stuff and heat meals if required. Shower was great and having a separate bedroom made it easier for using other facilities without disturbing your partner. Great value for money. Great pub meals around the corner and some excellent cafes and shops and historical buildings all within level walking distance.

Should have organised to stay there on our way back out from Freycinet.

In the context of regional motels, this one is excellent. The bed is generous and comfortable with quality bedlinen. The room is larger than most, with an entrance area where they have placed the fridge and utensils. Bathroom? Not new but roomy and well equipped. Good fluffy white towels. TV? small but no trouble at all using our Netflix account. Outside? Quiet except when the girls (chooks) are about during the daytime. No noise at night.

Occasionally the water pressure is low but that is manageable.

The driveway into this little village was amazing and gave us a Happy feeling of peacefulness and relaxation. The area was clean and beautiful with many blooming plants. This continued into our lovely accommodation, which was clean, fully ready for our short stay, the bed was comfortable, the amenities were clean and worked well, no drips or cracks. The birds were singing or chirping all the time, giving a peaceful ambience. Each room was a little separate home, prepared just for each holiday maker or tourist.

Leaving!

Lovely location on the waterway near a historic bridge. An easy walk in to town to the bakeries / cafes and pub. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with nothing being too difficult. The clothes dryer was free to use, and BBQ facilities onsite with a kit to use at the BBQ in the room.

Not all rooms had modern TVs. Had to upgrade the room to get access to a TV that would stream online channels. The room rates per night were high.

We had two bedrooms which were very spacious and tasteful. The beds were very comfortable. Our Host Emily was brilliant and organised a booking for a meal for us at the local hotel where the food was great and the atmosphere welcoming. The landscaping was so pretty with so many flowering plants and the ducks and chickens were very entertaining. Overall, we loved our stay and would return if visiting Tasmania again. Ross is a great place to visit.

Between the two rooms was a small fridge and microwave and tea making facilities. The only sink was in the bathroom so dishes had to be left outside to be washed.

An excellent place to have a stop-over. In fact, we wished we could have stayed more than just one night. The apartment was very clean, well-appointed and well-maintained, and comfortable. It was also quiet and within easy walking distance to the town centre and the many heritage sites. Our host was a lovely person. She was very friendly and welcoming, and had lots of good information to share. Thank you.

No concerns at all.

Ross itself is a very beautiful town particularly with autumn colours. Though there isn't much to do there, think it's still worth to stay a little longer to admire the tranquility.

The hotel did not keep to its words of the reception being open until 7:30pm and having twin beds for us. It's not the end of the world but would be nice for especially first time visitors to expect what they're given to expect.

I received a call earlier in the day to advise that I would have limited dinner options due to the local pub being closed due to renovations, and the food truck was unavailable during my stay. The wonderful woman provided me with options to ensure I was prepared. The room was clean, functional, and had everything I needed. Perfect place to stay if you want somewhere relaxing and easy between Hobart and Launceston.

The manager of the hotel was very helpful with good advice for us about exploring the area. The room was exceptionally clean with everything we needed being provided. We also had a very comfortable king sized bed which was much better than most. I liked the location of the hotel on the river. I experienced Ross to be a very sleepy town, even in the height of summer. We enjoyed walking in the town to enjoy the beauty, but having a base to go out to the coast and back, or head north for the day. Sunset in this town is absolutely magical, and it has a surreal feel about it that I have never experienced anywhere else, even in Tasmania.
