Honestly this was the best hotel we have stayed in so far on our two week road trip through Italy, France and the UK. The room was large, bright and airy, the bed was super comfortable, the linens were crisp and clean, the bathroom was huge with two sinks and plenty of space to put all our paraphernalia. The room was quiet, the parking was secure and convenient and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good WiFi, a very central location, and the room and bathroom were immaculate. Absolutely everything you could ask for in a hotel. Would highly recommend.

The location was AMAZING. The breakfast was expensive, but really good. Staff was friendly and helpful. The common areas downstairs were very pretty and comfortable, and the exterior and plantings were beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. Our room was quiet and looked over rooftops. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we'd had another night to spare here.

The upstairs corridors were pretty tired, and the rooms were small and plain. But, it is an old hotel, with the great and not as great that comes with that.

The room was compact but comfortable and well equipped. Bathroom was also clean and towels were of good quality. The city centre location was superb and being able to park the car a real bonus. Breakfast was as good as we've had in France, though pricey for what we actually eat.

Finding the hotel by car was a little difficult, having to drive round one way cobbled roads a couple of times before eventually spotting it, but that's not unusual for an old town centre hotel.

Pleasant staff. Garage space (essential for us) booked as requested. Location great, Room was generally comfortable. Breakfast buffet had a reasonable range of choice and a delightfully cheerful lady welcoming and serving.

Would have been helpful to have an alert about having to drive into the otherwise pedestrian zone to access the hotel and to have had details of how to access the parking garage in advance as it was difficult to park outside even just briefly. Aircon controls in the room defeated 2 adults well used to technology trying to turn down or off)! There was a limited bar (with settees that favoured style over comfort!), staffed (pleasantly) by reception on request. A small lift - glad we only had overnight bags to wrangle! Corridors could do with a little tlc.

Very good location, very good restaurant recommendation from staff, (Chez Jacques, 80 meters away), bathroom facilities very well designed, very comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Helpful and very pleasant staff.

I had reserved parking in my initial message through Booking.com but email wasn’t delivered due to hotel’s anti-spam software, so had no parking on arrival. However, got free parking in Parking Seraucourt, 7 minutes walk, which was fine. No problem parking outside hôtel briefly to pick up our cases. Stayed in room 112, needs an additional plug-in point on the other side of the bed for charging a second mobile phone.

Charming historical hotel in the heart of the city centre. The room was really spacious, clean and the beds really comfortable. The furniture made the room really welcoming. Breakfast was good. Absolutely peasant and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Nothing really. If any suggestion, breakfast could be even better, more abundant with choice available throughout breakfast time.

Excellent situation in the heart of the old town. Friendly and helpful staff who tolerated my French but also spoke English. Clean and comfortable room and good choice at breakfast. There is a small and cosy bar but no restaurant, though there are several within walking distance (many are closed on Mondays).

I would have appreciated some milk for the tea and coffee making facilities

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel D’Angleterre. Our room was very comfortable and well-equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Being situated in the town centre allowed us to wander around town and visit the cathedral and restaurants. The garage was helpful and recommend that one books a space before they disappear. We very much look forward to staying at this hotel again on our journeys going south and north of France and highly recommend.

Very clean and not far from old town and restaurants Thankfully we pre booked parking. Only about 7 places available and all very tight.

Very difficult to find even though detailed instructions sent. It was confusing as we had to go down a road that said no entry ( we may have been reading road signs wrong but that was what it looked like

Nicely located in the center. Adequate breakfast with friendly staff. The rooms are good size and are well maintained. The bathroom was fine, but includes a bath that doubles as a shower, which is quite a high step down and therefore not easy to get out for everybody.

The hallway could be a bit spruced up with the carpet showing some wear. But very little else to remark.
