Very nice hotel. Clean with cubby holes and hangers to keep clothes and luggage organized. Tub shower with plenty of room. Window overlooked street with great people-watching from our window. Great grocery store with good variety just across the street. Chicken's King, a fast food place next to the grocery store, was also a fun experience. The location was a little far from Paris center but very close to the famous cemetery and Belleville, and there is a metro stop just outside hotel entrance. The room doors are a little loud when closing so if people are up late, can be hard to sleep.

Nice, relatively calm part of the city. Hotel was right next to metro station and 20 mins from Paris Est train station by metro. Felt safe at night. There was also friendly receptionist 24/7 present and we could communicate in english. Room was clean and had everything we needed. We didnt have breakfast as there were many bakeries around for morning coffee and croissant.

Over our stay it was really hot outside and the fan in our room could use replacement for sth more efficient (eg. Air conditioning) in the future. But that was really small issue. Otherwise everything was really fine.

The room was a good size. I could walk around the bed no problem. The bathroom was average size with an average size shower. For most people it would not be a problem. The hotel is a ten to fifteen metro train ride to most tourist attractions in Paris. Google Maps helped to navigate the paris metro without an issue. Also served while with buses. The metro station is a two minute walk from the hotel.

The lighting in the bathroom could of have been better. I could not see any lights where the shower was at the end of the bathroom. I could still use the bathroom and shower after dark OK, but it may annoy some people.

Above all- the VIEW! Both ceiling-to-floor-windows in Bed-and Bathroom open wide, and let you enjoy the view of the busy street below. Because of the canope of chestnut trees, the car fumes never reach you on 4th floor. The houses opposite all have the typical Parisian front, the large balcony-like windows with wrought iron balustrades-100% Paris! On arrival in my room it took my breath away. Moreover, the Metro is directly in front and lets you access all of Paris with ease. Also, to my surprise, the room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. The hot water in the shower was instant. The kettle works, 2 cups, but bring own spoons and coffee, very little there.

It was fantastic for the PRIZE! It is not 5 stars, but basic. A smallish room, but perfect for 1 person-2 can make it work, too.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was cleaned daily. I liked it had a wardrobe with coat hangers so I could unpack and feel like I was at home for a week. Location was easy to get to from the Gare du nord by metro. Just a change at the republique. The entrance to the hotel is right outside the metro. The area was pretty quiet, and I got a view of the square. Lots of bakeries and food places nearby. I'd happily stay here again.

The room was super clean and cleaned well on a daily basis. It was a very comfortable stay, easy check in and staff at front desk at all times, and the room included a fan which I find a lot of hotels don't have, which is super helpful when there is no AC, our room also had a big window so it never felt hot or stuffy. The biggest perk is the hotel is right next to a metro station for easy access getting around the entire city. Absolutely recommend this hotel!

Shower pressure was a little weak at times, and the pillows were very fat and fluffy which was hard for me to sleep with at first but thats just a personal thing.

Clean room, spacious enough for 2 people, also with a comfortable bed, private bathroom and amenities. The location is very convenient, with good cafes, restaurants nearby along a supermarket, bakeries, etc. The subway access to line 3/Porte De Bagnolet station is literally right next to the hotel's door and there are also many bus connections to from that area. The hotel staff are polite, friendly, courteous and professional, always willing to help guests.

This hotel is in an interesting neighbourhood, close to Gambetta in north east Paris and well served by buses and metro. It's very Parisian, with fantastic local cafes. The hotel itself is basic, good value for money, very clean and the staff are helpful.

Not much really. If you want something close to the centre of Paris, this is not the place for you. But if you - like us - are happy to take buses through interesting parts of the the city then this is a good location.

Great location, there was a metro station directly out the front. It felt safe and secure as a solo female traveller. There was also an elevator which was so convenient for me as I was travelling with a moon boot due to an injury and not a lot of facilities in Paris are accessibility friendly. The staff were very helpful and allowed me to check in earlier. Great breakfast too!

The hotel is just in front of the metro station of Porte de Bagnolet (metro 3), the neighborhood is safe and nice (since I was traveling alone I've valued this a lot). The room was nice and comfortable, even if the furniture is a bit old. The view from the window was really pretty. The service was great, the room was cleaned daily and the staff is welcoming.

Walls are thin so you can hear when the other guests enter their rooms, and you hear noises from the street (not a problem for me but if you're sensitive take it into account). The shower is very little.
