What went well? Everything ! The room was spacious, beautifully and tastefully furbished, pure luxury ! It made one want to stay in the room and relax all day. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, very professional, and the breakfast buffet was varied and suited to all tastes and preferences. Honestly, we wished we could have stayed longer!

We were somewhat surprised by the very small size of the garage -- luckily we had requested to reserve a space when we booked. Oh, and as an aside : we much appreciated the free minibar and beverages and fruit, but it would have been nice to have 2 wineglasses as well, to enjoy the wine "in style"!

The location was perfect – right in the city center, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The Italian breakfast was amazing, with high-quality ingredients and a great selection. The bed was very soft and comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. Though the room was small, it had charming decor and attention to detail that made it feel cozy and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom featured a large shower, which was a pleasant surprise. We also appreciated the free minibar stocked with water and juice – a nice extra touch. They made us tea after check out as we were waiting for transportation to the airport.

Honestly, not much. The room size might be a bit tight for those with large luggage, but it worked well for a short city stay.

Location is always important to me when on a tight schedule as we were this property was ideal to get around the entire town to visit all the sights. It's never happened before that the reception staff have told me that everything in mini bar is free of charge for my/our personal use, you can imagine our surprise when we were told this. The breakfast was of very high quality and choice of food, also with great barista coffee offered.

The breakfast staff were very uninterested in being present and we really felt this unfortunately.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location was good with several restaurants nearby. And an excellent restaurant in the hotel too.

The nearest beach in Passetto wasn't good: scruffy and no sand. Better to take the B or C bus from Piazza Kennedy along the coast to Falconara or Palombina where there are miles of beautiful beaches.

Beautiful, clean room! Very good restaurant ! The front desk staff was outstanding !! Spoke fluent English and was very hospitable! We stayed 5 nights, so We did have requests for restaurants and reservations, train connections, calling taxis, finding a nail salon, local attractions, etc. On more than one occasion they would consult other staff members with our requests and several people were working at one time to answer our needs. We felt the staff went above and beyond while always making us feel like we were a priority. Loved our stay.

Check-in staff welcoming and efficient. Valet car parking provided. Room was comfortable, a decent size (especially for Italy). Plenty of storage, and a fridge with water and soft drink provided. Cleaning very good with change of bathroom linen, which was also of a high standard. We liked the lo cation - at the port but easy walking to anywhere in the city.

Pillows! As so often in Italy they are far too flat - useless when reading or watching television.

The hotel maintains its standards - we were here two years ago, and it is equally spotless clean and comfortable. Staff is kind and helpful. A day in advance, we received very helpful message about dinner options nearby. We followed the advice and were very pleased. Hotel is centrally placed, walking distance of most attractions and restaurants.

Beautiful property with very comfortable, very nice room and spacious bathroom. Excellent assistance for parking our car by hotel, most friendly, staff. Generous minibar for free. Possibility to buy great Italian regional wines at the reception.

We arrived late but still at time for the breakfast. Once the “deadline” of 10.00 am reached, staff (not very friendly) started cleaning up, and we had the impression that we should leave the room asap.

Generous room, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. Plentiful and varied breakfast buffet. Good location by the harbour. Restaurant with interesting menu and good wine selection.

We only stayed one night. I would have liked longer to explore Ancona.

A fabulous hotel, well worth every dollar. The owner has a vineyard and the wine on offer is inexpensive and excellent. The room was big and comfortable beds, great bathroom. The breakfast was buffet and you could order eggs done to your liking. The restaurant was fantastic great service food and wine and great value Worth the extra money to stay in a excellent hotel.
