The location is perfect just few meters from the Fujinomiya train station and a lift will take you directly to the hotel' front door. There is a also a big shopping centre nearby with a supermarket where you can buy things before going to Fuji. Quite handy. The bedroom was ok, we did not have problems with mattress, pillow, etc to us they were comfortable. The breakfast was good, if you are not used to the Japanese breakfast you have choices such as eggs, bread, jam so you can have a sort of continental breakfast in the morning. We found the hotel to be a base to whoever is planning to climb the Fuji, because the bus to the 5th Station departs from a station just in front of the hotel.

The toilet is quite small, but apparently this is standard for many Japanese hotels.

There was a large selection for breakfast but the hot food wasn't always hot. I thought I had booked a Mt Fuji View but was in a city view single. I peeked into a Mt Fuji view room and the king room was quite spacious as opposed to my single city view which was quite small as are many Japan Hotel. Not really enough space to open your suitcase. But it was comfortable, Wi-Fi and TV worked and there were amenities in the bathroom. Alot of maps and info about the area in the lobby and a stone's throw away from bus and train depots.

Staff sent me to the mall to get a meal as many of the nearby restaurants were closed when I arrived in the afternoon. Would have like to go to the street food nearby which was open. Due to the language, one needs to be super clear in what one is asking for. Staff goes overboard to assist but they don't always truly understand your questions. And next time, I will book a Mt Fuji view.

This was an unexpected surprise. I stayed at this hotel because of other reviews. I would normally not stay so close to the train station but this was perfect because all of the sightseeing by bus was just steps away from the hotel. It is NOT noisy at all from the train or bus. I stayed in Fujinomiya because I wanted to be somewhere convenient for seeing Mt. Fuji and to travel back towards Tokyo from Kyoto. This was so convenient to get off at the Fujinomiya Train Station and just steps away to the hotel. Also, I was lucky to book a single room with a view of Mt. Fuji right outside of my window!! The price I paid was the cheapest for all of Japan and the value including the view of Mt. Fuji and the most excellent free breakfast included!! I booked three nights and ended up staying for three more nights. The city of Fujinomiya was one of the most beautiful cities ever with the cherry blossoms and views of Mt. Fuji and the local food here is so delicious and the people are all so friendly and nice here. I really fell in love with this place and wished I could stay longer and live here! I will definately try to come back here again. Fujinomiya is a hidden gem. Also the delicatessen and food market at the AEON mall is phenomenal!! I always love the Japanese 7-eleven and always go there for snacks when I don't feel like eating out BUT this was CRAZY good beyond any Japanese 7 and that says a lot! There is also a cinema and lovely cafes inside the mall for rainy days too very close to the hotel!! The Fuji World heritage centre and everything you want is within walking distance to the hotel. I really loved my stay here!!

Everything was perfect!!

The location was great, and the size of the room was actually fine for us—typical of a standard Japanese city hotel. However, the toilet was too small and felt quite cramped. The room itself was okay, and the bed was comfortable, but the carpeted floor felt a bit dirty. Overall, it was an acceptable stay.

The parking required an additional fee, even though it’s located within the hotel building itself. Compared to other hotels we stayed at during this trip, this was the only one that charged for parking.

This accommodation's prime location is its standout feature. It's strategically situated near both the bus terminus and the train station. Plus, you can easily walk to numerous nighttime restaurants and eateries within 10-15 minutes, offering convenient dining options just a short distance from the hotel.

If I could make just a tiny suggestion, it would be so wonderful if the hotel could perhaps automatically move luggage to the room when guests drop it off a little early before check-in.

We stayed overnight for hiking Mt Fuji. however we didn't have chance to have the breakfast as we had to leave early for the bus. We had all individual room with a Mt Fuji view. The room was cosy and since I was just bringing a backpack so it was alright for the size, I doubt if you have a suitcase but should be good enough for single person. The room was clean and the location was good for us as it near the bus station and the train station. There were a lot of restaurants around the area and Aeon mall is just 10mins walk away.

Nothing, just fit our purpose and expectations

The hotel is newer, and the AC is on point! The room is exactly what busy people want, which is just a place to sleep (very small). The room wasn't big by any stretch of the imagination, but it was a perfect, no-nonsense room that is fairly cheap. Bed was comfy (All the beds were maybe like a full size, big enough for 1 person but definitely not 2), and did I mention the AC was fantastic. Everywhere we went outside of the hotel was hot (middle of summer) and it was just a relief to sleep in a room that was as cold as I wanted it to be. I stayed in a 1 bed room, my wife and son stayed in a 2 bed room directly across the hall. In the 2 bed room, there was a small table that was big enough to have snacks/drinks on, but the 1 bed room did not have a table. It does have a tv, small fridge, and all the other usual hotel items. I found it a little odd I had to step up into the bathroom, but overall, I fit (barely) in there at 6 ft 1 in tall. So, it wasn't a big deal. It did come with breakfast that looked decent with some cooked food. It was on the nicer side. Although, we didn't take advantage of it because we had brought breakfast. Lastly, there is a 7-eleven a very short walk away.

Size, but only because we had 3 people. The biggest room they offered was 2 beds. Ultimately, this didn't really affect our stay at all, except we had to run back and forth between rooms, opening and closing the doors. I can't overstate, the room is just big enough for the essentials. This hotel is not for the person looking for anything large/ultra-luxurious. It is very nice and new, but again, no-nonsense with great value.

Stay Nov 5 - 9 2023. Room is clean and comfortable with daily housekeeping. Typical room size - small. Hotel is just next to Fujinomiya train station and central bus stop (Buses from here go to Shiraito Waterfalls, Lake Tanuki etc and also Lake Kawaguchiko). Tourist info centre is at ground level of train station. Lots of eateries within 20 mins of walking from hotel ( The Blue's Noodles - chicken broth ramen, Marugame Siemens - udon tempura, and others selling yakisoba etc). There is also a big AEON mall on other side of train station. Free breakfast is included althot same variety throughout our stay. No free water bottles and coin laundry machines are of the old type - separate washer and dryer that need detergent

The bathroom is a bit cramped.

Perfect location for our Fuji climb portion of our trip. Aircon worked really well and rooms were nice, we'll equipped and clean. In center of town, many close restaurants and mall within 5 min. The town is very charming and greatly recommend!

Only minor gripe was that breakfast wasn't early enough for us as we took the 1st bus to 5th station... but that's our fault not the hotels. Would be nice if they had to-go snacks for the early people like us. I imagine quote a few people do what we do in order to climb Fuji.

The hotel and facilities were really nice and clean with ample parking. Staff were extremely helpful with everything we needed and were able to speak english which made things even easier. The open air bath was well kept and pleasant to use with instructions available in different languages, they even provided bathrobes, slippers and carry bags to take toiletries etc to the bath.

Hotel rooms were a little on the smaller side and poor noise insulation from the hallways meant that you could hear other tourists if they were being particularly rowdy.
