The views are stunning from the property, The infinty pool is refreshing and large enough for our family of 7 to have fun without disturbing the other guests. Their food surprised me with how delicious and abundant the portions, taste, and variety were (American, Filipino, European). All very reasonably priced. Jonglo 3 (our room) enticed us to relax in all its comforts while our kids in studio 3 below us enjoyed the netflix, hammocks, and patios. It's a great place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the views and life. Their free shuttles to town are critical as the property is isolated. El nido town is 5 minutes away and offers all food, bars, nightlife and tours you need. The hosts, drivers, servers, are all incredibly friendly and focused on your enjoyment and satisfaction while staying there. We booked the roundtrip airport pickup and drop off and both went off without a hitch. No taxis are available at the airport on arrival IF you don't book in advance. You could take a tuk to airport for departure if you're trying to save a few bucks. (Personally the size of our family and comfort outweighed that. Especially as tuks can only fit 3-4 small locals) The grounds are immaculately well kept. Be prepared for many steps and some steep hills depending on where your rooms are located. you may even get a surprise visit from iguanas, monkeys, or toucans from the surrounding hillside jungles. (all safe and non-threatening) we loved it.

No Beaches are close enough to access for swimming without taking day tours or hiring vans or tuks. closest beaches are el nido town harbor (busy for boats and not conducive for swimming> see picture) or 7 commando (boat needed to get there) or vanilla beach (tuks needed). The only way to appreciate the greater el nido area is to sign up for day tours via the numerous tour offices in el nido to island hop or change islands every 2 - 3 days.

Great views, amenities, staff I had a wonderful 4-day, 4-night stay at Karuna El Nido Villas with my sister and niece. The staff were very accommodating, always ready to help with their welcoming smiles and excellent hospitality. The food was delicious, and the amenities were excellent. A free shuttle service to and from town was a big plus, especially since the property is tucked away on a hillside. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable experience. The villa itself is very comfortable, with amazing views of El Nido’s grandeur right from the balcony. It’s the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of nature (saw a couple of monkeys on a tree by our balcony!) The only downside is that the location is on a steep hill—so if you have mobility issues, it might be challenging. Also, the Wi-Fi was practically non-existent, though luckily my mobile network worked fine. For me, the breathtaking views and overall comfort far outweigh the cons. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Joglo 5 and had the most amazing experience! Very spacious, peaceful, and beautifully designed, but what really took our breath away was the terrace with its panoramic view; it honestly felt like we were looking at a postcard every morning 😍 Though Joglo 5 is a bit of a walk (100+ steps from the front desk), it’s absolutely worth it for the privacy, tranquility, and unobstructed view of El Nido’s stunning landscape. We loved how secluded it felt! The staff were phenomenal from start to finish. Communication before our arrival was clear and helpful, and they assisted with everything from arranging airport pick-up, organizing private boat tours, to our departure logistics. Everything was seamless and stress-free 🙏🏼 We also loved the WhatsApp chat with the front desk team; it made coordinating plans and transportation so easy! They have a driver available every hour to take guests to town, which was super convenient. The entire team at Karuna is truly amazing! So attentive, friendly and welcoming! Special thanks to Janelyn, her smile and thoughtful attention were so appreciated every morning for breakfast! Great views and good location with easy access to Corong Corong beach and a short 5 min ride into town or Maremegmeg beach in opposite direct. Lovely pool and dining area with amazing views.

Bit of a steep hike up the hill, even to breakfast and back to room was a fair few stairs. I know you want views you get stairs. Walked up from main road a few times as there was no house transport available. It wasn't clear to me if we can request transport up the hill anytime or only when we arrive. Loft villa was nice but couch is more like a spare bed no not comfortable for sitting back or 'lounging'. Felt the house prices for airport transfer at 1500php shared with others was a bit steep given can catch a tricycle for 1/5 the price.

Karuna was stunning and I highly recommend watching the sunset from the infinity pool at least one night. Overall you get what you pay for, it is more expensive then other places for a reason. If you're someone who likes to go out into town just note that this resort is on a pretty steep hill so be comfortable doing some walking and after a night out breaking a sweat on your return! If you love to stay on resort property the pool is lovely, food is great, there are affordable spa services and the rooms immerse you in the El Nido jungle feel. I would come back!

The view of the bay from the property is a highlight. The staff are extremely helpful and kind, they did everything they could to assist us and this made our stay our favourite of our trip to the Phillipines. The staff helped us at the drop of a hat, whether we needed a ride out some water to our room they would help within minutes. We also thought the included breakfast was fantastic, we expected a buffet but loved that we were able to select from a menu and the staff would make our breakfast fresh, big win.

The positives outweighed the negatives for our stay. However, some things we noticed were the creaky floorboards (really not a big issue in the scheme of things) and the property being on a very steep hill, this was fixed by the staff using their vehicles to take us up and down the hill whenever we needed.

All the rooms have a beautiful view of the islands. The room is big and love the mix of ethnic and modern touch. Ellen from reception and Ariel who help drive us to the clinic are very genuinely polite and accomodating, same as the kitchen staff and the guy who fixed our aircon and lights. They are super nice and helped us althroughout. The complimentary pick and drop to and from town made our stay really easy, despite the rain.

The aircon has a drip on our first day which got fixed right away. The kitchen and outdoor bathroom lights kept on malfunctioning. The fix was quick but kept on happening. The other reception staff and cleaning staff are not as polite as the others.

By far the most professional, friendly, and helpful staff we have came across during our trip. The hotel is beautiful, of the highest quality, and extremely clean. The infinity pool offers a spectacular view of the magical El Nido, accompanied with delicious cocktails. The 1h head, shoulders and back massage was of high quality and at a reasonable price. The bedroom (Premium Studio) felt like home, with modern, yet local/natural decorations. The included breakfast was also very good. An amazing welcome cocktail is included at your arrival. Basically every transfer is covered by the property, including El Nido- Puerto Princesa, at very competitive price, so you might want to check out their fares before booking anything else.

Absolutely nothing.

The people were incredibly kind and helpful. They helped us with everything we needed - private transfer from Puerto Princessa, arranging for private island hopping tours (which were breathtaking and fun), transport to Nacpan Beach with a stop to drop off laundry on the way there and pick up on the way back. We loved the pool. Super easy to ask questions via text on WhatsApp (can also call from room or ask in person). The Joglo was beautiful, very comfortable beds and balcony was so nice. The food and drinks were delicious. We also got spa services that were heaven. Highly recommend staying here. It was a highlight of our girls trip.

Love that the property is sitting atop a hill. Each villa has a great and unobstructed view of the sea and the beautiful sunrise and sunset. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

It’s probably not much of a dislike but a slight discomfort on our first night. The management decided to “upgrade” to a villa from my original booking of a studio room and when we requested to get the studio back instead since it’s not even our personalities anyway to live like a king and queen, it took some time convincing them that, the sliding door lock to the balcony was not latching and there was a gecko hiding in one of the posts of the 4-poster bed. But in fairness, we never felt like we were not heard. The staff that was on duty at that time had to rely on the decisions of the upper management who was not on site.
