The best hostel in town. Good backpackers vibes. LGBTQIA+ friendly. Very nice and helpful staff. Clean, cheap, fully equiped kitchen. Good bed and chilling area. Can leave your bag at hostel after check out.

A lot of light coming in the dorm in the morning from some open window without curtains.

The breakfast is great for the price. I wish I paid for the breakfast both days. The place is clean and the security is really good. The rooms are also very well ventilated.

For the second night I stayed in a different room, but my review is basically the same. I liked everything. This hostel is a pure example of how the hostels should look like. Big, spacious, with a lot of different areas. Well equipped kitchen, outdoor smoking area, backyard hammock area, common space near reception with a ton of books, front yard with plants, a lot of art in all the areas of the hostel... Rooms are big enough with electric sockets near the beds, this room where I stayed for the second night had its own wc (although there're plenty of restrooms everywhere inside the hostel), vents during the day, air-condition during the night, hot showers, big friendly dog and big friendly cat, helpful and well informed bilingual staff, laundry available, small store with the most necessary items (food and toiletries) at the reception... Quiet during the night, but with a nice international hostel vibe. I hit some booking promo deal, so the price was also very affordable. 10/10

Air-condition for the first night was very strong (although it was set up on minimum). I woke up at 3AM frozen, and I had to put some clothes on, because the bed sheet wasn't enough.

It has everything you need, the beds are comfy, really nice staff, nice and fair breakfast, close to a mall and the historical city center, really nice bathrooms and good co-working room.

Nothing really relevant in my case, you could nitpick some things here and there, but nothing that would make my stay less enjoyable.

While Brazilian hostels have generally been pretty decent standard in my experience thus far, Zili far and away tops them all. Absolutely every detail has been thought out- from a really well stocked kitchen, to lots of hang out spaces, to squeaky clean rooms and bathrooms, to an efficient key system to wonderfully sweet and knowledgeable staff--- they are genuinely great at everything. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious, the location is on point and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. There are also games to play, a few guitars hanging about, and a pretty good book exchange-- little details that really make the experience much richer. I can't recommend this place enough!

Only critique is that I feel like the plastic bag policy in the kitchen should be revised. They insist a new plastic bag be used for each guest's fridge items- no cloth bags or reused plastic bags accepted- which I understand is probably to help keep the fridge clean... but for an eco-hostel, the multiple plastic bags this produces is kind of inconsistent with their otherwise very sustainable model. This is just a small thing though- this place otherwise absolutely perfect!

Good vibes, comfortable and spacious hangout areas. Good location for exploring Recife and a lot of shopping/ food options around. Clean bathrooms. I had a great time and stayed longer than expected.

The cheapest dorm doesn’t have air conditioning and is kind of noisy because of the fans. + there are no blinds, daylight just enters from 5/6 am. Not a safe neighbourhood in the night.

Incredibly cozy and welcoming hostel! I felt immediately at ease and like at home. I was lucky enough to be sharing my room with the volunteers who were so approachable and fun. I made some amazing friends at this hostel in a short 3 nights and would recommend to any solo traveller. I loved the hammocks, I also appreciated the water filter in the kitchen, The breakfast service is also really well organised.

You do have to pay for breakfast i guess, but at least you can choose what you specifically want.

Good location. Hostel was really clean, it had a lot of chill out spaces and staff were friendly.

Lots of mosquitoes in the area, struggled to sleep. Bring repellent.
