Wonderful hotel in a quiet town outside of Hannover. We stopped here for a night while road tripping north, with a baby and two dogs. We appreciated the hotel being pet-friendly; you could even bring the dogs to the outdoor area of the restaurant. There was also several animals, like horses and small deers to watch, which our baby loved. Breakfast was good, and the food in the restaurant at night was especially good. So many vegan and vegetarian options, good portion sizes and lovely staff.

The only thing that would be nice, since the room doesn't have air conditioning, would be a fan. We were there in July when it was 30 degrees, and it would have made it more comfortable.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It's great for children. It's close to the highway, so it's not the first time we've chosen this place to sleep. My daughter especially liked one horse that just wanted to be petted. The animals are tame and approach people. The breakfast is good and varied. The room is large and overlooks the beautiful nature (it turned out that we were on the same floor and side every time).

If you only stay one day with the children, it's very hard to leave.

We stayed here for 1 night during our drive from Switzerland to Finland. Location is great near the highway and some room to walk our dogs. Everything went smoothly and we were especially grateful for the veggie/vegan options at breakfast! We will definitely come back!

The road in front of room might be quite busy and you will need to cross it to head over to breakfast. The parking place is not immediately in front of entrance but you can first leave luggage and then park.

Clean,quiet, modern/up to date room with super bathroom. With a view from terrace of room (with view) of the deer field. A family run busy complex. Happy, helpful and cheerful staff. English spoken at reception. Enough free carparking near to room. Easy access from motorways which can be heard in distance. Restaurant menu and food very good. Vegetarian options. Bed comfortable. Petrol station opposite.

Need to take own kettle and supplies for room. No free water in room.

Our large room with terrace was located towards the backside of the house and therefore very quiet. Bed was very comfy, we slept really well! The bathroom was modern style with all necessary equipment. And the breakfast was delicious!

There was no fridge and no water heater in the room, other than that everything was just perfect!

It is beautiful and has a an authentic charm.

When someone books with their dog, it might be a good idea to place them in the room closest to the exit of the building, so the dog can be taken outside.

4th time I stayed at this hotel. Very happy with the hotel and the beautiful surroundings. Great breakfast and excellent food in the restaurant.

Very hot rooms without AC in the summer. Restaurant staff could pay more attention to guests.

Lots of parking and very clean and well presented. Room ma were comfy with great facilities and the breakfast was excellent.

Barman wouldn’t serve you a beer unless you were sitting at a table, although it may have been a little lost in translation to be fair. Evening meal is okay for the price but not exceptional.

Restaurant especially dinner was great including choice of wine. Very quiet place, with facilities to walk around.

The only minor point was a bit uncomfortable bed. Everything was fine.

The rooms were newly renovated and luxurious, super comfortable beds too. Breakfast was so out of this world the it was like a 5* hotel with loads off options and the whole place made us wonder if I had got the price right as it was amazing.

Nothing could be improved better than it was. It was simply fantastic throughout. If i had to force myself to find the tiniest thing, it would be that the whirlpool and sauna were open longer other than 5pm-9pm.
