We had a room with a balcony with a river view, which was great. Room has a comfortable bed, good bathroom. We had booked a family room, with a queen and a twin bed, and requested an additional bed, but unfortunately this was misunderstood so we were short a bed the first night. The hotel was able to find a second room for us for the second night, so everyone slept better! Great location, near the river and near West street. Excellent restaurant downstairs; if you give a little notice and order your meal ahead, they can seat you ahead of the queue as a hotel guest. Staff is very helpful and kind, and will assist you with anything. They also speak English well.

Still hiccup with the bed accommodation as above, but remedied after the first night by the helpful staff.

You can feel the soul of old China here. Great location facing the Li River. The staff are very helpful and friendly, you can tell they care about giving you the best service possible even when they are busy. The restaurant downstairs is also part of the hotel so you get priority seating if you decide to dine there. It is also walking distance from the dock, so you can walk straight to the hotel after your Guilin to Yangshuo Li river cruise.

My toilet didn't flush on the 3rd day, but I called the staff and they resolved it as soon as possible.

The Hotel is an old building but nicely renovated. You have to pass through the restaurant to reach the reception. The restaurant was rather popular and crowded and the food was good. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the West Road which is a popular tourists street. A couple of the receptionists could speak English well so communication was not a problem. The river is just across the Hotel and you could see nice sunrise if you wake up on time to catch it.

Have to get use to the water pressure if you stay all the way up to the 4th floor. No lifts, so need to walk up.

This is a lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Our bedroom had windows on 2 sides, one with balcony overlooking the adjacent square with river and mountain views, the second with Chinese tea seating area. It was fun sharing in the bustle of the restaurant downstairs which spills onto the pavement. The staff are really friendly and helpful, finding us fresh milk, ice etc and booking tickets.

When we came down for breakfast it was cleaning day and restaurant was in midst of thorough clean. In 30 mins it was orderly and we had breakfast, but it would have been helpful if we had been told, so we could time things differently.

The places so lovely! The views were amazing, and super spacious. It is right in front of the river, minutes walk to West Street. The space feels so special, traditional, with super tasty restaurant. Everyone in town knew the hotel because of the restaurant. Everyone was super lovely and they communicated to me before arrival to explain how to get to the hotel. They were super friendly during my stay. The bed was big and comfortable, firm matress. I would love to come back here and I will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangshuo.

Excellent! It’s value for money and some! Seriously, the welcome from the team is absolutely wonderful and in near perfect English too! They introduce themselves and yes, I was even greeted by first name in the morning as I arrived for breakfast, nice! Kevin was very helpful, Yawen was delightful and couldn’t have been more helpful! The food served in their corner located restaurant was utterly delicious and it’s very popular, reserve when you arrive or ahead! Breakfast was wholesome and reasonable at around ¥400 for a nice coffee and scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage plus toast, preserves, fresh fruit too, served with a smile, great!! If I were to be critical, the river view rooms are exactly what they say, they overlook the river however, the trees in full bloom rather block this view! It didn’t detract from my stay in any way, but perhaps the term river/promenade side might lessen the disappointment if one was expecting to see the river! For winter I believe the view will be spectacular as the river swells etc. There ya go, don’t hesitate, book the room and enjoy Yangshuo

It is a small, family runned hotel with restaurant at excellent central location, close to the Li River Cruise peer, West street and the old city of Yangshuo. We stayed in a river view room, which was clean and comfortable with a stunning view from the balcony. There is no elevator, but the staff brought our luggage to the room for us. They were efficient and helpful in any possible way, answered any question we have and booked tickets for the Ruyi peak cable way, as well as a shuttle bus to the airport for us. We loved this hotel and would definitely stay again here when in Yangshuo.

The location is perfect, right by the river with stunning views, although there was some road construction nearby (no night noise, and it’s beyond the hotel’s control). The hotel has beautiful Chinese character, amazing views, and a lovely one-person bathtub in the room. The staff went above and beyond (particularly this lady who unfortunately I forgot the name, apologies)—they were extremely helpful, assisted me with booking a sunrise tour to Xiangong Mountain, and provided great recommendations for other places. The hotel restaurant serves high-quality traditional local food and seems highly rated locally. At the end of my stay, they surprised me with a box of traditional tea as a gift. The tea is delicious; I’ve already tried it since returning home. All of this at a great price!

River View room is lovely and so nice to have your own balcony. Generous size room with a comfortable bed. The English speaking staff were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Location is great, and for us, a bonus being away from the very busy West Street, but only being a few minutes walk.

As we extened our stay, we had to change rooms and were put in The Mountain View room. It is nice, but with the lowered ceiling over the tea ceremony spot, you couldn't really see the mountains that well. Tea ceremony seating looked lovely, but really missed a proper chair to sit on and we found it just awkward to get in and out off without hitting your head on the low beam (it was padded, thank goodness).

Superb location right across the Li River and just barely 500m to the bustling West Street. Hotel staff especially Ya Wen and Kelvin are very helpful plus kind. Kelvin helped detail my cycling trail and arranged for my Xianggong Hill sunrise hike (a must coz it's just up perhaps 300+ steps to a most beautiful sunrise). The hotel can help arrange day trips at very reasonable prices. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Mine had a tea nook overlooking the mountains. Oh....their restaurant serves the most yummilicious beer fish!! Normally busy so best reserve a table.
