Don't be deceived by the front of the hotel. It looks like it is closed. But once you are inside, it is a very nice hotel. The rooms are very very good and spacious. The shower is the best one I had in India and the beds are very comfortable.

Good afternoon from Mumbai. We stayed 2 nights at Saratha Rajans. Close to the temple very clean and spacious rooms. Washrooms are spic and span. The reception desk helped us by booking autos to travel. Their dining facility Bhoomi is super. Special mention to Mr Deena the manager and Mr Murali who are ever ready to help. Wide variety of dishes and great taste.we would definitely recommend this place. Best wishes to the team

One small disappointment. We requested them to pack 4 chappatis and dry ALOO GEERA so we could have it for lunch at the airport. 🤔 when we opened the packet we found the masala kept for dosa. What hurt was they charged a bomb for the chappatis and wrong sabzi. .We felt they could have said not possible to give aloo geera. Anyways...all other things were par excellence .

Hotel is undergoing a major renovation and I received a modernised room with updated facilities. All of the staff were extremely professional & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. They work hard to ensure guests needs are met. The breakfast buffet was plentiful & they kindly obliged to prepare me some eggs one morning. I did a late check out and hung around the hotel until my bus departure. I would recommend to others.

The hotel was conveniently located withing 3KM from railway station and Meenakshi temple, making them easily accessable. The restaurant offered a quality, hygienic breakfast with a decent variety. The staff were thoughtful and called to remind us of the breakfast timings, which was much appreciated.

Our room faced the main road, which made it quite noisy. It would benefit from better noise-reducing windows. Other rooms might not experience the same issue.

Hotel Saratha Rajans is such a great place to stay! The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially the manager, Deena—he really went above and beyond. The hotel itself was modern, clean, and well-kept. Our room was quiet and peaceful, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We stayed for a couple of nights and enjoyed the restaurant and bar too. Plus, it’s so close to the Gandhi Museum and Meenakshi Temple. Highly recommend!

The reception staff informed that the room shown in the picture was not the room that we had booked. Not sure how that works or who is at fault. He told me the room in the photos was of a room that was costlier than the one we booked. Someone has clearly goofed up. Anyway, the rooms were still very good and clean and the service was pretty awesome. The stay was very comfortable and a very decent South Indian breakfast too.

Super nice welcome from reception feom men and women of the afternoon shift. Positiin is abit far from the temple and crowded area but at leat here is more calm.Room is 5 and all you need.confortable bed and clean sheets ...very nice experience more than expected breakfast also is varied and tasty

Mlre attention at the cleaning of the floor of the room. I found a lot of black long air. 8

The room was big and has an airco and good shower. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They arranged me a tuktuk to the busstation. The location is also good. In about 30 minutes walk you are at the famous temple of Madurai. The food in the bar was great and has also some international food.

Some mosquito nuisance at times and the room is a bit noisy. I missed a fridge in the room.

Good evening from Mumbai. The location is great. Extremely warm and courteous staff. Clean room and washrooms. Mr Deena and Mr.Murali in the restraunt or in house dine section took the hospitality a notch higher. We will recommend this place to our friends and family visiting Madurai. Best wishes to the team

Great budget hotel. Facilities were good. Staff was courteous. Food at the restaurant was good. The restaurant staff was awesome.

Although location was good the wailing sirens of bringing patients to the hospital next door was sometimes annoying. The hotel could replace the window glasses with thicker ones to make the rooms soundproof.
