This is not the Ritz-Carlton and that is one of the many reasons it is so amazing! This the oldest hotel in the Netherlands, located in a quaint village with historic charm. We enjoyed the gorgeous view during breakfast and shopping in the little shops in Veere. Parking is close and you receive a significant discount if you pay through the hotel. Pets are welcome. Seeing the sailboats & yachts coming and going throughout the day was really pleasant. The staff were wonderful. We highly recommend!

A beautiful old building in the heart of the charming waterside town of Veere. Great views, and our room was lovely. Tastefully and beautifully decorated and a very comfy bed. From the auberge, you step right onto the quayside. Breakfast was served in the stunning dining room overlooking the lake and was absolutely delicious. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

It is just in the waterfront. The stuff we’re friendly and helpful. Had a chance to chat with the owner during the breakfast time. By the way, breakfast is delicious in the very stylish atmosphere.

Feels like you are back 200 years ago with modern touch and comfort. Definitely would be back.

Great hotel at a beautiful location in the heart of Veere. Clean rooms with comfortable beds and a good breakfast. Staff were very helpful with the parking. Veere charges 50 euro per day for parking close to the hotel so be aware where to park! The hotel has a couple parking spaces so do ask them to arrange parking.

Nothing really

We very much enjoyed our stay in this interesting historic building. We loved eating a delicious breakfast whilst looking out of the wonderful, tall windows at a sunlit, watery view! The staff were friendly and the location in the lovely little town of Veere was perfect.

Great location in Zealand, by the water, walkable from restaurant etc.

Be careful not to pay the hefty price of the parking nearby, and ask the reception of the Auberge instead as they have vouchers.

The location, the bedrooms, the food and wine are all very good. The owner and her team are very welcoming and friendly.

The pillows are a bit hard/bouncy.

I have known this property, which is a historic monument, for 60 years. It has been beautifully and carefully maintained throughout that time. It is located in the beautiful town of Veere.

Staff was very friendly, nice breakfast, beautifull old features in some of the buildings Stunning view

Not so good were the very noisy yacht people till deep in the night.

Very atmospheric room and breakfast room, very central location, bike parking was provided

Bathroom a bit basic, staff was not available, breakfast was alright.
