A truly wonderful hotel right in the heart of of New York close to the main attractions, subway and good restaurants (Bryant Park is excellent for restaurants and ambiance). This hotel is very friendly and has a great SPYGLASS roof top bar looking out directly at the Empire State building and is lovely in the evening for a cocktail. We booked an Empire view room which was great but not worth the extra money really when you can go up to the rooftop bar and see it in the open air for all its glory for no extra cost. Staff were all excellent and made you feel welcome from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. We would truly recommend this hotel as a great base for a short break to New York City.

Although the rooms are very nicely decorated and kitted out very well they are tiny, once in bed your fine but two of you cannot move around very easy in these rooms and with little storage you find yourself climbing over cases. However the bathroom is a dream with lots of space. Shame but we did not go to NY to sit in our room.

the hotel has an excellent location. the staff is friendly and professional. the hotel looks very nice, in the room there is a mini fridge, hairdryer, iron, slippers... on the top floor there is an excellent bar with a perfect view. we felt safe in the hotel. we received excellent recommendations for jazz bars.

taking a $200 deposit from the card, which you can use at the bar or for snacks. if you don't use it, it will be returned to your card in 7-10 days. it disappointed us a lot on our trip in America, everywhere they took our deposit of 200-300 dollars, at the end of the trip we had almost 1000 dollars trapped as a deposit. no one accepted cash for deposit. I didn't like it in the hotel, every day they left bottles of water in the room, which were charged $5. there is free water downstairs in the lobby. small rooms for 3 or 4 people.

Our room was well appointed with comfortable beds and a great view of the empire state building. Extra bonus for having coffee, water and a fridge in the room. We visited the spyglass rooftop bar which had excellent espresso martini choices. We had breakfast in the lobby area which was good. We loved the morning coffee in the lobby to grab and go on our way out.

There was nothing not to like! The only thing I might add is location. If you are visiting as a tourist it is a little far from central park, 5th ave etc. If you like to walk like we do, this is not a big deal. The Archer is close to many restaurants, shopping and not to far from Time Square & The Empire State Building. It served our Travel needs happily.

A charming boutique hotel in the middle of the city with super comfy beds and an amazing shower. Room size is not too bad (as we all know they are a bit tight in NYC) but cleaning was spotless (it passed my uv light torch test lol). Lovely quality amenities and a Nespresso machine with decaf coffee option is always a great idea. The hotel is located in a nice tourist-friendly area but also has a short walk to the subway if you want to explore a bit further. The hotel team is spectacular and they were very helpful and friendly in every single aspect during our stay. And last but not least, a rooftop bar (and weekend family brunch area) and a room with a view of the Empire State are always a great way to make the NYC experience even more memorable.

We had a lovely stay at the Archer Hotel. Good location, very quiet and the most comfortable beds and pillows! The bathroom was quite large and had lovely products to use. Housekeeping service was great with a little treat to come home to each evening. The hot cider in the lobby was a warm welcome when coming home from a brisk day in the city.

The room was small but comfortable. It was a little tricky to house our 2 suitcases so we both had easy access to our things. Our view of the Empire State Building was awesome - it would have been nice if the bed was positioned so you could see it from a lounging position (it was kind of behind us).

Just completed a 5-nights stay at Archer Hotel New York in Feb 2025. The hotel's location is wonderful, being very accessible to the subway station, many eateries, shops and is about a 10-min walk to Times Square. The hotel room was comfortable, clean and met all my expectations. I would especially like to commend the hotel staff, Diana and Fabiola, for their prompt action in finding my prescription glasses and returning it to me by courier. The package was received the very next day, and saved me the hassle of making another pair of glasses.

The location, staff and overall hotel was wonderful. It was nice and quiet to say we were so central to all the busyness of NYC. The hotel felt safe and so convenient to see all the sights we wanted to see. Beautiful breakfast but very expensive. Nice they had free Coffee, Tea and hot cocoa in the lobby before we set out for the day. The sky lounge bar was amazing but unfortunately, we could not go as we had our 12 year old with us and its 21 plus. The view was awesome though.

The rooms were really small but that seems typical for NYC. After three days it was feeling very tight. However the shower made up for it ! LOVELY SHOWER!

The hotel is well located, it is quite small which is what we wanted. We were on the 21st floor with a great view of the Empire State Building. All we wanted in the room, comfortable beds, coffee making machine, a little fridge. There is a wardrobe with hangers, the bathroom is big and has nice toiletries. Complimentary coffee and iced water in the lobby. We didn't try the restaurant but they serve breakfast and dinner. There is a rooftop bar which we couldn't go to with a child, which is a pitty, but this is the USA.

We hoped the reception would be able to help us book a taxi to Penn Station, but in the end we had to use the booking.com service, which was expensive but totally reliable.

It was beautiful and centrally located. The staff provided a hand drawn card, cupcake, and gift for my daughter’s birthday (it made our stay so special). The hotel was beautiful and had an amazing view of the Empire State Building.

They didn’t receive our booking through Booking.com and had no record of our reservation when we arrived even though we had a confirmation number and a reservation. We had to wait awhile while they remedied the situation.
