The over all stay was a good experience. A big problem the manager has to deal with. I am a retired K9 officer so I know what certain drug orders are. When we arrived around 3:30pm I smelt an odor of marijuana in the lobby. As I approached the counter a young lady addressed me. The odor was stronger at this point. At first I just simply thought it was coming from the main hall near the elevators. We finished checking in. Went down the main hallway and there was no odor. Later in the evening we left for a late diner and upon returning I stopped at the front counter to ask for a blanket and pillow. The same lady was present and a young man was working with here. The odor of marijuana was in the area. At this point I mention to both associates that some is smoking marijuana in their hotel. They said they would check. As we turned down the main hallway one of my sons noticed both associating laughing. There was no one else in the lobby. As we passed the employee only door the odor of marijuana was the strangest. At the elevators the odor was not present. It would make me to believe that maybe the employees themselves were smoking marijuana inside the employee area. Which I am sure is a hotel violation of your policies and also in the State of Indiana is illegal. I hope this manager will take this serious and look into the matter. A drug test for marijuana can last in the system up to 39 days.

I liked the breakfast. I thought it was a great selection to choose from. The pool was clean and just big enough to enjoy yourself in. The location was perfect. It was a straight shot to my destination in Downtown Indianapolis. The room was clean, water pressure and temperature in shower was great. I was satisfied.

Maybe just that 1st floor ice machine wasn't working but I just went up to 2nd floor for ice. So it really cancels it out. I did see my son slip near pool area after using shower. Tile doesn't give good traction. If nobody else mentioned it maybe just a fluke with my son.

The breakfast was good but the same every day. A little variety would be nice. I did love the waffles.

Issue either with the pool room door or my door key card. Both times I wanted to use the pool I could not get it. I went back to my room and called the front desk (it was closer) Both times I was advised they were busy but would be there in 10-15 min. I didnt have too long each time to enjoy, just wanted to get a soak in between meetings and supper. The day I was leaving I tried my card and it opened, but I was on my way to check out

I like the amount of room we had. It was comfortable for the most part but the bed wasn't awesome and the pillows were so flat I almost asked for extra.. Did love the jacuzzi that was very clean. I would stay again if in the area . Considering the lack of bed comfort truly pricing could of been a little cheaper. Not use to being at a hotel wishing I was in my comfy bed at home. No complaints other than that . It was the perfect hotel to make my husband GWAR Concert dreams come true ! 👍

Bed was uncomfortable and pillows were super flat.

Breakfast and their sales of candy, snacks, and soft drinks is a great plus. Location is great and close to most major places you'd need. Seems like a pet friendly location so be prepared for that if that is something you need to consider.

The mattresses were horrible. I could hardly sleep and utilized the bed pillows to put under the mattress for more support. Furniture in the main lobby should and could be cleaned or replaced. Heavy staining present.

It was my second stay at this hotel. We chose it for Slamology that weekend. The first time was in 2022. The only complaints I really have, if you can call it that, is that the housekeeper didn’t make the bed and I think the breakfast could’ve tasted a little better. The eggs weren’t great and the orange juice seemed watered down. Other than that I still recommend the hotel. I’d use it again but Slamology isn’t returning to Indianapolis next year. It’s worth considering for your stay. Oh and I felt the price was fair in comparison to others.

Very well lit, extremely clean, and staff went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable and pleased. The young lady who checked us in on Thursday afternoon, was extremely welcoming and helpful. She even made a trip up to our room to show us how to use the television.

There really was nothing I can put my finger on, I do feel a bench out front for smokers with an ashtray would be nice, but I realize this is not as important as it used to be to the general public, but there were four of us out front saying the same thing.

I liked how close it was to restaurants and the highway, the cleanliness, the affordability, and the other amenities that were offered.

On my last night and day at the hotel, the heat wasn't working in my room. I notified the front desk staff, and there was no apology or a discount for the inconvenience. The front desk was nice and said they would take a look at it. I don't know if it was checked out since we had to check out.

We stay at this location 2 times in a month. We had a horrible experience with a different hotel near by. La Quinta was so wonderful to us and we were so grateful. We had a family member pass away,, so we can back and had some family stay at LaQutina when we came back to celebrate our loved one who passed away. We will be back. Hope to try a suite next time, since our family members had one.

Have to be honest…. We liked the older front desk better than the new one….. Sure doesn’t seem safe for your employees 😳

the hotel was clean and comfortable. I had issues with another couple there and their dogs but the management took care of it. someone puked in the pool and they shut it down immediately to have it clean and maintained. I hated that we didn't get to swim but I am glad that they took care of it the proper way. we didn't get a chance to eat breakfast due to going to ball games but it smelled amazing. I recommend staying here and if we are in the area again we will be staying here!
