The facilites in general were brand new, so no complaint at all. The room was more spacious than usual and with the quality expected from this line of hotels. The staff was kind and friendly and the hotel parking comfortable and convenient at more of less market price. The breakfast was standard, but good enough. Public transportation right in front and out of the usual touristic mess of Antwerp Centrum.

I usually do not consider an hotel room without a safe, but I didn’t have a choice this time. A room safe is always appreciated for peace of mind if not as standard.

The hotel is in a great location and we had a room looking out over the harbour.

Lift from garage to reception. Either this was due to renovations of the hotel or, the hotel doesn’t have this amenity, meant we had to take the staircase with a heavy suitcase. The signage for the garage wasn’t quite clear. It looked like we had to park across the road from the hotel, whereas it was actually straight on at the side of the hotel. Once there you could easily see that this was the parking area for the Holiday Inn. Fortunately the reception team pointed us in the right direction.

We chose the hotel because of the parking, however a barrier issue meant that after some messing about we managed to use the same car park but paid Park Be instead. We had my elderly father with us so this could have been a problem as the only parking at the front was for Electric vehicles or disabled badge holders. The staff were all lovely, the rooms were clean and quiet.

Breakfast was a little bit frantic, with a lot of people trying to get the self-service food and drinks in a confined area. The hot food choice was limited and not obviously located, but the make your own waffles were a great option. The selection of cold food and various drinks were very good, just the experience was not very relaxing with the volume of people. The staff were very good at replenishing and clearing away. Driving to the hotel - signs to access the hotel and the parking could be clearer, especially if you are not familiar with Antwerp.

Good location, nearby Harbour, friendly and supportive staff,. Even if the breakfast area was crowded the plates were not empty, two coffee machines working.

If you have a EV and need to charge your car, the chargers in front of the hotel are quite expensive! standard cards (mobility+,…) were not accepted , you need to buy a card at the reception. A few HPC are 300-400m away from the hotel.

We showed up earlier than check in time and were allowed to already check in, this was very convenient! The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Decent air conditioning, nice bathroom with very decent shampoo etc. Breakfast was very nice. Seating in breakfast area was a little cramped but not bad. Location is ok, not very close to the city centre but still good.

The breakfast was perfectly in line with what you might expect, with two nice bonuses being the waffle irons and a proper coffee machine instead of some powder based alternative. The room and bathroom were clean but also nothing special.

The window in the room can only be opened at a very small angle and will often close at night due to a bit of wind. I ended up resolving this problem by jamming a paper cup in the window opening at night to keep it open. It would have been nice if there was a locking mechanism too keep them open or if the windows tilted vertically so this would not be an issue.

A holiday inn hotel… All said!

Breakfast scrambled eggs were way overcooked, they were like boiled, not fried... First I thought I was late for breakfast so it’s due to long stay on heat, but next days I was early, it was the same…

Hotel qas excellent-we thought it would be good but was even better than hoped.Superb transport connections from Antwerp main station too.Breakfast was very good and filling.Room was great size and the shower was just right.We did leave room window open at night and got some insect bites so maybe something we dont do in future.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, delicious breakfast with plenty of options. Just two stops away by tram from historic downtown. Virtually on the banks of the river and near the marina, good place to go for a walk or grab a bite.

25 EUR charge for the parking (even though the hotel's own information system still had the old price 17EUR posted)

We stayed for 1 night at this very modern yet cozy hotel. Location was excellent, in the centre but not very close to noisy streets. Beds were comfy, good size room and no noise from adjacent rooms/outside. Great breakfast, including waffles (they give you the dough, so you just have to pour it on the waffle maker), many choices of bread, eggs, hams, etc.

Paid parking was available at +20€/night. Understandable as the hotel is located in the city centre. Since we arrive after 7pm and were going to stay for 1 night, we decided to park outside just in front of the hotel (at 3€ per hour), as after 9pm the outside parking was for free, until 9am the next day (you can pay in the parkmeter also for the next day). We only stayed until 11am, so parking outside was cheaper for us.
