The staff! They are all so friendly and helpful, it really makes your stay. The house is very cool, a bit run down in places but it’s lovely and a sanctuary away from the hustle of Suva.

In our room we could hear the road noise but I think rooms on the other side of the house would be fine.

good simple continental breakfast with fresh fruit and juice, cereal etc, even a treat of local fried bread babakau! Nice old building with character and lovely entrance foyer. informal book library was abonus

Sometimes the pool was closed for cleaning for 24 hours which was a bit disappointing.

Checking on our use of sachets not really done, needed more at times. only 1 cup and 1 glass for two people. originally only one towel!! Maybe that was not our original room so not quite sorted.

As a fan of old, historical hotels, I really enjoyed my stay here. My spacious room had everything I needed—good mattress, shower; the TV even had Netflix and the WiFi worked fine. The grounds are lovely. Dinner isn’t from a menu, but tell them earlier in the day what you want. I had fish, which was delicious. The best part of staying here was the super friendly and genuinely kind staff. They couldn’t have been nicer.

Trees surrounding the hotel provided a quiet oasis with lovely birdsong. Breakfast buffet was good. An adequate selection and good coffee! Dinner made to order and very good. My daughter is a vegetarian and the chef accommodated her with a very nice meal. The colonial bure was a delight. Would certainly stay here again!

The boutique hotel is well-located in the hills among embassies and consulates - an easy taxi ride to downtown Suva. The charming setting and buildings reflect old island charm and character, nicely updated.

The history of the hotel, the ambience was gorgeous. The beds, linen were perfect Pool was so relaxing.

Unfortunately the steps up were a bit awkward for my elderly father. A rail would be great.

Staff are really nice and helpful, the property is very clean and there is a nice historical feel about the whole place through the pieces of furniture, the items here and there… the gardens are beautiful too

The swimming pool would need some maintenance.

Loved the hotel, excellent food, super friendly staff. The room was lovely, the ambience of the hotel was great. Amazing taste.

The only minus was the Wifi, but that is not really the fault of the hotel.

Close to airport, free airport transfers, large pool with slide, good breakfast, friendly staff
