Lovely location in the Pembrokeshire countryside. Great ensuite rooms with lots of natural light and 'green' view to the grounds. Very nice bar area and dining room. Friendly welcome by the recently new owners...a family concern...in particular from the very bubbly and smiley daughter, Parleen (spelling ?) :-) Evening food pretty good with a great breakfast selection. 11am departure.

Nothing really, but only constructive comment would be that they up their game a bit on attentive table service. Long gaps between asking if anything was needed. Offering menus etc. The smiles by all made up for all of this, but one cannot help but think that they will need more staff for any do's in their well appointed function room.

The new owners are very nice and polite. Their talking in very loud voices in an unknown language (NOT welsh) could be improved but these are all teething troubles and can be ironed out. Staff were very friendly and approachable, professional and smart. We have been many times before under different owners. The menu has vastly improved and food was well cooked, very plentiful and tasted great. Spacious rooms and immaculately clean. Plentiful parking. Very good WiFi.

Breakfast was not ready at 7am on any of the days we stayed. That needs improvement. Some would not mind but we needed to be out of the hotel very early.

Had a fantastic stay We was pleasantly surprised with the size of our family room it was more like a 2 bedroom apartment, it was cosy and comfortable and had a TV in each of the rooms, it had a nice sized bath room with a nice big bath lovely and relaxing, the building was beautiful and was surrounded with lovely grounds, friendly staff, we would definitely stay here again

We really loved everything, only thing was no one was available when it came to checking out we rang the bell and looked in the bar ect and couldn't see any members of staff we hung around for a bit but in the end we had to leave our key on the main deck with other keys that other customers had left I'm assuming due to same reason, This really wasn't a problem I was just a little unsure if it was safe to do so, maybe a key drop of box would be a good idea on the front desk for future customers checking out

Quite and pleasant surroundings

Only issues with the breakfast on second day, first day was done by chef and no issues 10/10 but on second day was done by staff member and by looks and sounds from kitchen most was microwaved and started drying up before finishing breakfast, and toast was very poor also continental breakfast poor not a lot of choice and some of the fruit was going off, would recommend having toaster out and having white and brown bread and can do to your liking, Room was given was away from the main hotel and very dark with a wall in front of the window, but sure the staff and was resolved and given room in main hotel

Everything. The place is amazing, beautiful grounds, so well kept. Incredibly comfortable bed and such clean bedding. The staff were so nice and friendly. And the pricing is fantastic. Especially the food. And the shower was great. Would highly recommend.

The food portion sizes. The prices are brilliant and the food is lovely, but it's so much. One meal would have still been too much for me and my other half. I really appreciate what they are doing but felt so guilty as so much of what we ordered went in the bin. Just too much!

We stayed during Storm Darragh, during the night thr power went out. The staff were great, they managed to cook bacon sandwiches for everyone and were really helpful. We left to visit family, staff were helpful in letting us know if we could reach our destination in the storm. Through no fault of the hotel, the power remained out. With the conditions on the road we didn't wish to drive in the dark and made the decision to leave the hotel early. I cannot fault the hotel and they handled the circumstances admirably. I would definitely use the hotel again. Maybe I'll try to visit when there isn't a red alert storm warning next time.

The location is very convenient for the town of Pembroke and the ferry to Ireland. The location provides natural security for the car as it is quite isolated. The hotel has just been acquired by a new local owner. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly the lady owner. Good full breakfast included, making this hotel good value for money, compared to other local hotels which are much more expensive and do not include breakfast.

Access to our room was via a set of steep outside stairs making it awkward for moving bags etc from our car to the room.and for walking outside to get to the reception and dining room, especially as the weather was poor.

The location of the hotel was nice and remote away from the hustle and bustle of the local town giving you a sense of tranquility and a chance to relax. The staff were very friendly and helpful giving you a sense of being made to feel welcome there. Booking a table in the restaurant was very easy online through the Booking.com app and the food when it was served was delicious and to the right size portions so you never felt and the portions size for the food at breakfast were just the same. The room itself was nice and spacious and the beds themselves were very comfortable and soft making for a very easy nights sleep. I would definitely consider staying here again if in the Pembroke area.

Nothing.

The hotel is set in quite a rural area but well within travelling to other areas easily. The rooms are basic but the beds are very comfortable...we slept so well as it is so quiet compared to the built up area we live in back home. The staff are great, so friendly and the food is absolutely out of this world, especially the curry's and the 16oz gammon...BEAST.

There wasn't a single thing we didn't like. The price was good and we would definitely come back here again ☺️

An unexpectedly superb hotel which started with a delightful dinner with great service. The room was cool after a very warm day. It was comfortable and clean with a great bed. The shower was in the bath but had plenty of power. Breakfast service was fast and v efficient and all that you might hope for. I often judge a hotel by it's breakfast. The location is lovely - it's completely on its own in the middle of the countryside but amazingly close to the docks and the town.

There was nothing I didn't like. If I were to be picky the reason I couldn't give it a 10 because I'd reserve that for a luxury hotel with a range of pillows including soft down pillows :)
