The peace and quietness being on a main route through the village. Lovely hosts. Excellent selection of teas. Well stocked tea tray in room. The close proximity to Pembroke and Fresh East

WiFi was hit and miss. Missed a few important calls/messages. No bar open to dine/relax and socialise with other guests in the evening. No cooked breakfast. 😥 Continental breakfast was great but last time we stayed 2024 a full cooked English breakfast was included in price. Also sink was in the main room, would have been better in the bathroom along side toilet and shower. Other than that we had a lovely stay.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at the hotel. The atmosphere was peaceful, the staff were incredibly friendly and always smiling, which made us feel very welcome. The food was a highlight;absolutely fantastic. I especially enjoyed the roast beef with butter garlic sauce and the vegetables and my partner loved the buger. Everything was well presented and delicious.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. It felt quite basic, with only cornflakes available and no option for hot milk, which made it feel flat compared to the quality of the dinner.

Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff who helped me with directions to nearby attractions and services. Great meals from the kitchen. Kudos to the chef. Lovely fluffy towels in my room! Cozy rooms. (I stayed 2 nights and had 2 different rooms) I loved the character of this old Lamphey Hall which has been modernized over the years. (Bathrooms in particular). Nice to hear the birds in the large trees on the property grounds. 😊

Needs some more repairs/ maintenance to windows. In one room they didn’t open and in another didn’t work well.

Room was large, bed was creaky but comfortable, and quiet, great pub in the village that was friendly and had great food, good location for us too

We didn't dislike it but breakfast was a little disappointing,it was advertised as continental but other than cereals, toast and fruit it only had packaged pain au choc with no means of warming it up and packaged individual cheese but I think this was because the kitchen was closed from the evening before and it didn't detract from our stay,

Me and my partner are not party animals. It was located in a quiet area, not many cars driving by. Very clean, lovely size! Staff and manager were amazing! And so friendly and full of conversations. When we booked the Bistro and Bar was closed I think due to maybe it not being peak times. In all honesty, we loved the peace and quiet!

WiFi was on and off, but we wasn’t at the property for long amounts of time as we was attending a family funeral. So it wasn’t a huge issue.

In general absolutely fine. However we only checked in at near 4 in the morning(ferry related) & when I asked could we have a little later check out,we got half an hour begrudgingly it seemed plus breakfast was.out of the question as we would have had to be up even earlier. Besides that,the facilities are lovely & a very handy pit stop enroute from a very late ferry crossing

Large comfortable room with ensuite bathroom with lovely roll top bath. Traditional furnishings, no mdf Rubbish. Continental breakfast included in the very reasonable price. Location was great for exploring the south pembrokeshire coast which we did on bikes. Hotel was quiet and will go back.

It wouldn’t take much to make it a 4* Clean, comfy and gorgeous bath.

No cooked breakfast and restaurant wasn’t open on an evening. Was offered vouchers for free starter and desert in pub restaurant 4.7 miles away which didn’t work for us. Ate at the Dial Inn opposite which was absolutely amazing.

Simple continental breakfast , but enough. Dinner , bar menu for a small restaurant good enough choice with a nod to some different dishes Beer selection ok would be nice to see more local craft beers

There are many castles and beautiful beaches nearby. We arrived after midnight and the reception was closed but the room key was out and everything was fine. The room was a bit cold but the friendly staff gave us a small electric radiator and everything was great.
