When I arrived Mark who was working the front desk was so polite, professional and caring about my situation. I had booked a room threw Booking.com and by mistake booked it for the 4th instead of the 5th of January. This was already paid in full and taken out my account. He went the extra mile to contact booking.com and even though they were not helpful at all. He did everything he had to and was able to put me in a room. This made my and my son's experience a very nice one, and I would recommend the Best Western in Lake Dallas to everyone!! Thank you Mark!! Milena Velez

I stayed at the Best Western Plus Lake Dallas Inn & Suites for business in north Dallas last month. The hotel is very clean and the amenities are great. The Nespresso machine that was available 24-7 was a MAJOR plus. The property is situated just off of I-35E, so it is theoretically easy to get to most locations in Dallas. However, this is largely dependent on traffic. The hotel is about halfway between DFW and Denton, so you are not really close to anything.

The one issue is part of a concern I saw with another Best Western property on this same business trip (Best Western Plus Gen X Inn, Memphis). In both cases, the owner had decided to eliminate the position of “manager” and have the person running the front desk also act as manager. To save costs, the owner is obviously keeping the lower-wage front desk employee and firing the manager. This leads to an overworked staff and a potential for some serious problems

Everything from Check in to Check out was easy and service was welcoming Room comfort and comfort and cleanliness was great. Breakfast included in the rate was warm, fresh, and fulfilling. What made a real Difference: I prefer black tea. There were plenty of high-quality herbal and other teas avaliable. I politely suggested to Dawn , the duty manager if they could consider adding black tea to available choices. She listened with empathy and Lo and Behold at the last Breakfast of our stay, ample quantity of black tea was available. This is called empathy , this is called true customer care. No issues to mention. All was satisfactory

The location was fantastic, since I was heading down to the lake for the day, and the manager, Dawn, was super friendly and very personable! Breakfast was great, and I got to show off our Texas-shaped waffles to a disbelieving friend in NM. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, local TV was good, and the shower was fantastic after a day of boating

My only real complaint was that the door to the bathroom wasn’t sitting properly in its frame anymore, so it was a little hard to close and swung shut by itself. But that’s it! Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Breakfast was great. The hotel was clean. Staff were always polite in my brief interactions with them.

The location is weird as it's behind several other businesses and you have to drive through their parking lot to access the property. My room was right above the entrance to the hotel so I heard everybody coming in and leaving the hotel. The light coming in the window from outside was also really bright.

This place was always clean and smelt fantastic. I used the gym and the pool with Jacuzzi. Everything was a great experience.

My only tiny concern was the sausage at breakfast. It is more of preference but I wish they would toast them more. It seems cooked enough but soggy. Everything else is worth the money spent.

The space of the room for the price. The location is in walking distance of a few different types of restaurants.

The breakfast was lacking a bit but wasn't terrible. Our window was not super secure and had a very bad draft but nothing closing the curtain didn't fix.

The manager Dawn Riccio and her staff were fabulous! I haven't experienced a stay like that since before COVID. It was a clean, comfortable, pleasant stay. I'd highly recommend staying here. It is 4 minutes from Glory of Zion Global Spheres Center (use the GZI shuttle). And fresh coffee was available 24/7! Breakfasts included eggs, meat, potates, and waffles. Zero complaints!

The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed. Nice pool area to sit with friends. Food and drinks places were within walking distance.

Hard to get in the parking area with so much constant traffic. Ceiling fan did not work and humidity was hard to control without running air conditioning way to cold for comfort,
