The hotel was very clean, comfortable , welcoming, restful and in a good location

The front desk people a d Booking.com could not communicate well. 6 weeks before our stay I changed the date from 4 days to 2 days. According to the front desk, Booking.com never told them. I showed up to check in and they said I was already check in. Someone went up to the room to check. I was right. I finally convinced a supervisor that my date had changed. She agreed and said I would not be charged for the extra 2 nights. On checking out I found I was charged for 3 nights instead of 2. I had an early departure so could not deal with it. I guess Home 2 Suites and Booking.com win.

Rooms were very spacious and clean .. breakfast had a nice spread but mostly packaged food heated and a few freshly made foods . But overall it was a decent spread .. outdoor fireplace and lounge seating were very comfortable and clean and they also had a few board games for kids .. very nice stay overall ..

The trash cans in the room could have been a bit bigger . The hotel shower could have had a hand shower for the kids and a few healthy choices in the breakfast .

Excellent location to walk around and pretty park and water area.

I did not like being told upon arrival that it was an extra $75 for my pet. That should have been included in the total price or listed when booking and it was NOT. I complained and asked for a partial refund of the $75 but no one wanted to help with that. I talked to 3 executives about it. I understand pet fees but had no idea of this additional charge. The hotel room is high and this made it worse.

I have nothing but positive thoughts about this hotel experience. The most exceptional aspect was the staff. I was especially impressed by the people who arranged breakfast in the morning.

The room and facilities were clean. At times the cleaning products used were a bit too strong.

Breakfast location was easy and convenient. If you just need something quick before getting on the road and don't mind pre-packaged type food, this will work for you.

The breakfast is predominantly packaged food. I try to avoid preservatives, and this is just not easy in this scenario.

Breakfast was fantastic. Our cook and server on both days were helpful and good at their job. We also enjoyed the pool and workout room. The cleanliness of hotel was great and entire staff was friendly. Also close to some neat shops, ice cream and bakeries. Also enjoyed the river walk behind hotel Ppp

Room was large and very modern and super comfy. Accessible bath was perfect. Great kitchen facilities

Breakfast was pretty bad especially the precooked sandwiches. There was toast and bagels, cereal etc so ok to leave the hot food

The breakfast meet expectations. It was very nice to be able to have a variety of food to choose from each day.

I didn’t like that fact the we had to ask for towels every night and toilet paper. Plus our shampoo ran out. So things had to be replaced and we did have that because we did have housekeeping every day. Also the pool was down and we couldn’t use it so it stunk that we weren’t able to use it for the amount of money we paid.

clean and new, the kitchen facilities were excellent

breakfast was just OK, waffles were great but they need to revamp the other hot items offered. the cereals and oatmeal was nice and the toppings were exceptional. maybe just a different supplier for the hot sandwich/egg bowl items

Really appreciated the ability to do an early check in! We live locally and our house was being fogged for rodent waste remediation. We had to be out of house asking with our pets.
