We had a great experience during our stay! The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and very clean which made our visit comfortable. The highlight however was that the property is pet friendly. Opposite our room was a lovely lawn within the property which was perfect for our dog to run around and enjoy. It made the trip so much more convenient and enjoyable for us as pet owners. Highly recommend for anyone travelling with pets! Suggestion- To enclose the lawn area to make it leash free. Good luck to the New owners who are gradually upgrading the facilities.

I didn't like the dark color walls -My personal preference - Neutral color walls and better lighting.

Comfortable family room with two separate bedrooms, both with queen beds. The main living area had two single beds and the kitchen area with stove and microwave, plus a small dining table with three chairs. Air-conditioning in main living area only. As we were there on a 38C day the rooms were very hot as no air-con or fans available. Rooms cleaned well and daily, beds made nicely, and rubbish emptied. Towels replaced daily.

No air-conditioning or fans in the separate bedrooms. Laundry room not well kept with bugs in the washing machine. Rooms could do with an uplift.

The staff were amazing. Left my iPad they returned it promptly by mail no fuss. They were professional and the room was disability friendly and lovely and clean

I thought the dog fee of $40 was a bit excessive, other hotels charge $12. Understand that some owners may not be responsible but a small well socialised house dog should not be compared with a larger more active dog. Something to think about as a large fee for my dog would be a de vision maker for me going forward. However as u said it was very clean.

Great value for money, HUGE room, simple kitchenette with tea/coffee facilities, bar fridge (and tiny freezer), and microwave/kettle/toaster. Environmentally friendly body wash/etc dispensers. There was an outdoor pool but we didn't use it, and a laundry room available for a reasonable fee (but we didn't use that either). Good wifi. Comfy bed. Quiet and beautiful location. The front desk staff and cleaner were really nice. Security cameras outside the room near where you park your car, which actually made me feel safe because I don't know much about Tumut as a town. (Turns out it's lovely, but still a nice thing to have.) It's a little outside of the main part of town- literally only a few minutes drive- but I liked this about it. It's a budget motel, but this is reflected in the price. I also appreciate not having a 2 night minimum booking, as this location is convenient for an overnight stay for road trips across the East Coast.

No breakfast option as far as I am aware. But the coffee is enough to get me functional and on the road to find breakfast elsewhere.

Good value for money. Quiet area. Laundry facilities. Very friendly/helpful staff. Appreciated being allowed to smoke “on the property”, without annoying others.

Be nice to have a restaurant so could “stay in” although a short drive to town and delivery services available. Noise travels depending on neighbours! A smokers seating/covered area would be a great addition, as plenty of outdoor space🥰

Very clean and comfortable motel, but what pleased myself the most was the ability to cast from my phone to the TV. Raj the manager was very accommodating with a later check in (18:00) and helping me with setting up the cast to the TV, which was appreciated.

The location is a little out of town about 4km from the centre, but this is so minor that I'm a little embarassed to mention, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker in the future.

We were upgraded to a bigger room as someone wanted to extend their stay in our original booking. It was brilliant. Second time we've stayed here and each time has been great.

I did find the double bed a bit soft and we rolled into the middle of it. My husband ended up taking one of the single beds while I had the double. I do have a particularly bad back and also heavily pregnant though.

We as 2 adults and 2kids expected to stay in a minimum 4 beds sized which is one room. However, when we got there, the manager have us 2 rooms with kitchenette and additional 2 beds. We could cook some simple healthy food in the kitchenette after unhealthy restaurant food during the trip. We were so impressed with size of the room and we've changed our itinerary to stay another night at Tumut Valley Motel in the end. Very happy with their offer!

Old facilities, but they are still clean and tidy.

A lovely setting in town. Very quiet even on a Main Road. The Staff have been so Hospitable and friendly. The Rooms were very clean. The view of the pool outside the Kitchen window was inviting BUT unfortunately the weather was not Quite warm enough. Maybe next trip. I left an item of clothing there and arrangements were made to return it back to me. THAT WAS WONDERFUL.

We did miss not having a Clock in the room. An extra couple of pillows would have been handy as we use 2 x each. We did not bring our own this time.

The spacious rooms and the separate kitchen area are great. Everything works, and despite the aging bathroom, the water pressure is so good, which makes hair washing easy. At night, it is very quiet and in combination with the comfortable beds, a good sleep is easy.

The price increase compared to the same room one year ago.
